Funny, shot first. I found the video transition is too fast for me to finish reading the speech bubbles and taking in the scene. Good thing for the pause button...

Items may still be available at a local LEGO Retail Store at the sale price. I bought stuff that was sold out online but my local store still had some in stock. I don't believe the LEGO S@H website take into account of stock at the stores. It might be the warehouse stock to support the online shopping & shipping. Edit: fix bad wording

I think sharing a link to someone else's video or adding someone else's video to a playlist is OK. Any monetization in the video is still tied to that someone's account, not the person sharing the link or playlist. Whereas downloading someone else's video and reuploading as your own so that you can collect the monetization is "stealing".

Thanks for the term explanation. Sounds like a red cargo train type release that happened a couple of years ago.

You can try Railbricks. http://railbricks.com/ They have instructions. I think there might be some 8 wides in there. I can't remember now. It is not hard to take an existing 6 wide and make it fatter.

Novelty could be a promotional item.

It took them 5 days to respond when I filled out their online form last summer for my NXT hardware failure. They actually called me in addition to email.

Pimped out 8879 PF IR Speed Remote Control?
dr_spock replied to ritzcrackerman's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You can use letter tiles to put your name or initials on the 4 studs on the top of the remote. I write my name on the back with permanent marker. -
Thanks for the comparision. I think I like the old. It is not as threatening. New one has that Godzilla I'm going to cook you look. I have a bunch of the old ones. I guess the new one can be their boss alligator.

Welcome aboard. Model railroading can more more expensive than LEGO if you get into hand made brass locomotives. What scale did you model?

I use yellow too. I do keep the fleshies parts around when I do collaboration builds and the other people are using fleshies. I wonder what POTC ships could be released in 2017...

You have a great collection and space to run them. Good idea with using copper desoldering braid(?) for electric pickup.

My Horizon Express Custom Transformed in TGV (France)
dr_spock replied to Godzilla91210's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I had two sets running on one PF train motor. I made a jacob bogie and replaced one of the engine's technic axle bogie with a regular train wheel bogie to reduce rolling friction. If it is not fast enough for you, you can add a second PF train motor.
