Yes, it does. I had a IR receiver in the cab of my PRR BB1 class engine. I used transclear windows.

Avast, I got lucky and won a couple Batman sets in a contest. Now I don't have to choose between pirates and Batman.

Has the PF plug been modified?
dr_spock replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Interesting, one of the IR receivers I ordered from a year or so ago has it. I never really noticed it since I use the orange brick separator to disconnect them. -
There is no power transformer to plug in with PF. So kids don't get to experience 240V or 120V. 120VAC wasn't that bad when I grabbed the wall plug wrong as a kid. It kinda hurted. I used to do HO model railroading as a youngster. I remember smoke coming out of the transformer due to wiring something wrong and causing a short. I notice that the PF battery boxes and controllers have little screws to keep the case closed. No eating batteries either unless you know how to use a screwdriver. I think kids today have the liability avoidance and lawyers stuff that we didn't back then. Yet most of us still live to post about it.

I meant the MOC should fit within a specified area rather than having to build it on a plate. An example would be the Turtle contest that LEGO had. To prove all the pieces fit within, take a picture of the MOC on top of the plate (or ruler) afterwards.
-
Maybe instead of max bricks, you could have the MOC fit within a 8x8 plate or 16x16 or 32x32, etc. Maybe no height limit. It'll be easier than counting pieces.

Cool. Looks like you have Swiss RE 4/4 in there.

A big nice. I recall seeing something similar on Brickshelf years ago. A blue Horizon Express?

How much times passes fro buying a PaB cup to putting it in your stora
dr_spock replied to legoman19892's topic in Community
You could have turned it into a speed sorting game with your guests. It depends on the contents of the cup and available time. The quickest was when I got an entire cup of 1x1 round studs. I use PAB cups for storage so it was already "stored". -
PF XL motor is too big for 6 wide engines. A new PF motor with the size of a M-motor and the power of the XL would be nice.
-
Clever. Just what I need to motorize my wagon tipper MOC. Are you grabbing onto the holes in the engine and car body frames?
-
Awesome. I love all the little details you put into it including restrooms separated by gender.

More of the sorting. Does it ever end?

Do you project people in your life into LEGO minfigures?

I made copies of the minifigs of the contestants in the Pirates forum's Tournament of Retribution. I did terrible things to the ones who were on the side of the Bluecoats.- 9 replies
