  1. Woah, love the schematic drawings that are coming out at the moment. Is it just me, or does this feel like more of an anniversary year than 2017?
  2. They're cool. Very rare before 2018. I rather like this set. It's a bit too big, but aesthetically and mechanically it's quite something. I even think the B-model is good. Hopefully we'll see a small version of the pile-driver in the not-too-distant future.
  3. No formal registration required. You just have to believe. For the record, you can be a member and still apply stickers - I do, by the way - you just have to not like doing it.
  4. I would like to officially throw my support behind @I_Igor's campaign for smaller CLAAS tyres. I'd like to see a size fitting the pullback rims. Anyway, the inaccuracies on the ZEUX don't bother me. It still looks great.
  5. I'M BLIND! Nope, sorry, just had my eyes closed. Anyway, this set is theoretically interesting. There's some new colours like @Erik Leppen pointed out, and hopefully the functions do their job.
  6. Well, it is Pride Month! Nice way to celebrate.
  7. That's just what I was thinking. This could be the start of a whole "future concept" series in Technic. That would be great.
  8. Had a Drome Racers Slammer G-Force that went walkabout one day. I swear I brought it home from school... But a box of parts? Nope... that is odd.
  9. It is way better than TRU. The product presentation is great (some of the larger set boxes are on show in display cabinets) and the staff get you excited when you buy a set. I'd say the staff are on a par with those in the TLG stores as well! Making the buying experience a good one also lifts your opinion of the brand.
  10. Green axles, then? Don't think we've had those since the barcode truck. EDIT: Yep, a couple of green 4's appeared in 2002's Republic Gunship and a Bionicle barrel o' bits in 2004. Random to say the least...
  11. I wouldn't mind if all axles were black again. I mean, the classic manuals all tell you which length is which.
  12. The blue bushes only appear in the X-track and a small Roboriders set (Ice Explorer). You have to ask "Why?".
  13. Which often means discounts as stores rush to clear shelves. My local Smyth's already has the Mack for £99.99. Won't get it though, I'm waiting for 42081!
  14. Yeah. Anyone remember poor 42061? It was on shelves for barely a year. I used to be able to pick up sets from 1997 in 2000 (like the Mountain Rambler and the Tread Trekker) as well. At least I was able to snag 8069 in 2013, which was a one in a million chance.
  15. Sampo Rosenlew or Ponsse would have worked as well. That B-model is one ugly sucker. I'm reminded of 42008's B, especially where the mangled shape due to the battery box is concerned.
  16. Looking forward to the reviews too! Can't wait to see how it actually works.
  17. You're probably closer to the truth than you think, Paul.
  18. The second thing. Although it would be good to see black cylinders.
