  1. Cool! Looking forward to that.
  2. I think it carries the look well without. But maybe you can find stickers for it in another set.
  3. I'm surprised the Chiron wasn't orange, given that it's Rou's favourite colour.
  4. Nope, he's been there since 2009. He's mostly done small stuff like 42061, but he's been known to go bigger (42038).
  5. Markus Kossman is an elder statesman of the Technic department. He designed the mighty mobile crane back in 2005, which was the first recognized flagship set. He also did 8110, 42043 and 42055 to name but a few.
  6. Nope, I don't buy that. A forest harvester has to be able to cut logs to differing lengths. This means the harvester head has to be lined up PERFECTLY to slice the log, and with pneumatics I don't see that happening. I think @allanp's mod would work wonders, though.
  7. Just noticed something: the catalogue image shows that the top half of the log being sliced has a yellow axle in the centre. Can this log only be sawn off in one place? If so, that's stupid.
  8. Unless PF 2.0 includes some seriously small motors, I don't see that happening.
  9. This time last year (to the day, I think) we had the B-models. Still waiting patiently for those.
  10. Hey, I wouldn't mind a 3,000-piece forklift!
  11. I don't like the colour scheme. What's wrong with the two greys? That aside, it will be interesting to see where TLG takes this and what models they design for it.
  12. We officially have less than 24 hours before the big reveal! The excitement mounts.
  13. Looking closely at the set image, there is a long towball joint running from near the articulation point to the front axle, so it looks like the central pivot point works in tandem with the axle for better steering.
  14. The steering still looks a bit cumbersome. Other than that, vast improvement over the Porsche.
  15. Don't forget the Exclusive Edition Crawler... although that's probably a bit hard to come by.
  16. Yeah. It's fine for arctic exploration vehicles, but for super cars... maybe not so much.
  17. And hey, at least you can see the seats now.
  18. Well, hey. If TLG can stretch to new gears and brake hubs, why not an actual handbag piece?
  19. What functions could a handbag have, exactly? Theft alarm? Working lipstick, perhaps? Seriously, though, it's an odd choice for an accessory. The trunk in the Porsche at least made sense...
  20. I'm thinking TLG should stop with the big gearboxes if they can't make one that works.
