  1. Just what I've heard. I cite The LEGO Car Blog. https://thelegocarblog.com/tag/42080/ Whoop, just rechecked the article. It says $150. I did think £150 was too steep.
  2. Final sprinkle of salt in this gaping wound - the price. I hear £150.
  3. It's starting to look that way. I did think that it would slice the log when the head folds over.
  4. You forgot the orange bits, brown cab controls and silver wheel hubs.
  5. It's what a flagship set - nay, a Technic set - deserves.
  6. It does match up. I know the tyres look thicker on the model, but that's because the hubs are smaller than on the "real" thing. TLG did a good job with the overall dimensions.
  7. I like that it actually includes a tool box. The sticker on the panel ain't just for show!
  8. Wonder why the PEGAX didn't get much of a demonstration. I was looking forward to that!
  9. Yup, we're here again. We have an awesome model, with some great parts and features and the overall design giving us a glimpse into the future of engineering as we know it... and all we can talk about is the wheelbase. In studs. Studs. Man, I love this forum.
  10. Great news, Jim! Looking forward to those reviews.
  11. Just rechecked the photo and was about to add Aurelien to my previous post. I'm not really familiar with Sam Tacchi so I couldn't identify him. I need to rewatch the pullback video. No sign of Uwe, Alfred or Lars T (actually not sure about him. He could be in there). The prototypes look great as well. Oh, how close we came to a yellow bucket! Also, did nearly all of the Technic team work on 42081, or are they there to simply represent the company? I've heard direct from TLG that 8283 was a large group project, so it's possible that this was the case with the ZEUX.
  12. I can pick out Lars KJ, Jeppe, Markus, Michael and Milan in the photo at least.
  13. I'm stoked for this build as well. 8258 is apparently one of the greatest Technic sets ever.
  14. Like the FischerTechnik tyres, they really set it off. Great use of the pneumatic pump as well.
  15. It didn't. It was introduced with 8043 in 2010.
  16. I'll take that as a compliment. Though I didn't even get to using the Dark Azure Bionicle eyes for the switches...
  17. Has anyone tried the Dark Azure arches on 42070?
