  1. Oh! Sorry, thought we were talking about the AA box and the rechargeable one. I'll just plug my brain in and go away.
  2. Depth wise they're different, but I wouldn't know about width or length.
  3. Yes, this discussion has officially just included the question of "How long is a piece of string?".
  4. Woah there! I was able to compose a demure-but-heartfelt sonnet in the time 42082's outriggers take to deploy.
  5. Some really great parts here for a smaller set, especially the diff.
  6. Well, whaddaya know? 42070 came in useful for something!
  7. Indeed. I think it can be unfair of us to constantly demand new parts from TLG. Some of the fun is seeing what the designers can innovate with the existing catalogue.
  8. Looks-wise, I'd say this is the best set in the H2 wave.
  9. I wouldn't say this thing has any parts to write home about. Great set, though.
  10. There is gear reduction in the Volvo, though, which acts as a preventative measure against damage. Watch @Sariel's 42030 review. As for the others, who knows.
  11. The open differentials take care of that.
  12. Woah, cool! This is top-notch. The details are spot on, from the Mack-aroni parts for the front bullbar to the use of the panels getting the shape right. Great work!
  13. You could also motorize the drivetrain by replacing the V8 engine with an XL motor.
  14. Sorry, I thought @zux meant a part in '81. I've edited my last comment.
  15. Banana gear? Which part is that? EDIT: Never mind, you mean the curved gear racks in '82.
  16. I actually think 42082 is the most cohesive of the H2 sets. Even the day-glo fan doesn't detract from the overall neatness.
