  1. Bloody hell, that box is the size of a steamer trunk!
  2. This tyre is returning after a 6-year absence in a new Ninjago set later this year. And there was me thinking it was gone for good.
  3. I'd go with 42039! It has a B-model and it can be motorized.
  4. Mm-hm. Like the suspension in the Porsche and Bugatti respectively.
  5. Well @Sariel just proved the Chiron is better. Your opinion is moot. No, seriously, you're totally entitled to your view. There's stuff to like in both models. I'd personally prefer the Chiron if I was even remotely into cars, though.
  6. Had not a shade of a doubt that the Chiron would clinch it. I'm no car enthusiast, but even I think the Chiron is just plain better. Great video and love those hamsters!
  7. Taking into account @M_longer's post above, let's summarize what we know about the crop of B-models heading our way. 42082 - drilling rig. That's all we have. 42081 - automated dumper. Again, name only. 42080 - forwarder. Partial image in catalogue. 42079 - no information whatsoever. Given the lateness of actual reveals this year, it's probably no surprise that the rest is coming in a little tardy as well. Still pumped, though. Show us what you've got, TLG!
  8. To quote Chandler Bing from Friends, "MERGE!"
  9. According to Jangbricks' review of 42071, the Articulated Truck B-model is supposed to be modelled after one used in a steel mill or factory: I'm not sure how correct he is, though. It looks unusual enough to be.
  10. Minus the front jacks, four-wheel steering, PF capability, and, er, actual telescopic boom. No, but seriously, you're right. Plus it looks and works better.
  11. There can't be that much strain on the gears if all the crane needs is an L. Well, that, or TLG are sick of hearing complaints about functions being too slow!
  12. Out of the excellent A, B and C models that can be made with 42004, I can't pick a favourite!
  13. Mm, tell me about it. Had to disassemble my way out of its stomach twice already...
  14. Then I suggest you obtain one forthwith! Or build it since it's made from fairly common parts.
  15. What?! 42004 was the set that got me back into Technic, way back in March 2013 (okay, so not that way back, but still). What's not to like? It's got so many functions and you can do much with it. Best small Technic set ever in my opinion.
  16. Pure Farming 2018 features JCB vehicles, and that game was developed by Polish companies Techland and Ice Flames, so I don't really think the UK thing would be a factor. JCB is a world-famous and well-loved brand, and I think any set with it on the box would sell well.
  17. Well, @Sariel did mention Pagani and McLaren in addition to Bugatti in his review of 42056, noting them as more exotic than Porsche. Not that I'm saying he predicted the future, but if we see either of the other two cropping up in the near future, I would probably be convinced that he is doing just that. Anyway, seeing as this is the wish topic, I'd like to see more futuristic sets in coming years. TLG are definitely on a tomorrow's world/concept kick right now, and I hope it continues. A high-tech terraforming vehicle of some sort, with a JCB license would be great. Maybe the designers at TLG should play a bit of JCB Pioneer: Mars. And don't skimp on the small CLAAS tyres!
