Very nice station, and it's really modular! I like it!
-
Impressive! It's 64 studs wide, right? Very italian-styled building :)

My LOTR minifigs arrived today, safe and sound :) They fits perfectly with my cinema, since it's playing "The return of the king" Thank you very much!

Looks like something I did some years ago when I made "open back" city buildings . Anyway I like the concept: a simpler "modular" building rich of details, ready to be MODed or MOCed.
-
Have you used only bricks present in two boxes or have you addedd some? Interesting...
-
The fifth or the seventh. Any shot of the whole town? ;)

Some updates to single modulars: Green grocer moved to the tan building, and the building itself has been improved too So the hardware store moved to the white builng in the same place where the pharmacy was. Uh, the taxi can fit another passegger, other than the driver more pictures of the buildings here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=507528

The sign is awesome! And the rest, of course

The creator set seems something I hoped for a long time TLG would have made: a simpler and cheaper modular building that can be customized according the builder's preferences

Look in my Flickr link (see sig) There's both a full shot of the city and more pictures of the Esso service station.

Sets for Parts - MOC and Modding the Modulars

If you want to avoid bricklink, then creator houses and pick-a-brick. Hope it helps :) -
Happy new year! In this thread I'll keep you informed about the updates of my modular town. I've planned some big changes for this year, if everything goes in the right way... In the meanwhile I've added the cinema and replaced some shops. As soon as I can I'll replace all the stickers with better ones. the green grocer has been moved... or maybe the building has been repainted? or rebuilt? I dunno... Well' there's still the guy picking an apple A few changes in the police station ...and in some of the shops too. Hope you like!

Anyway, I'm happy with my prize since I've just built a cinema showing The Lord of the Rings movies . Many thanks to the raffle staff and happy holidays!
-
Don't worry, the hardware store will be moved soon , so the green grocer.
-
No, it's hasn't anything related to the original set, except it's a modular building, it's a cinema and its name is "palace" Shape and colors are different, since I re-use my own bricks, and in this case I destroyed two of the old modulars (the hardware store and the green grocer) to build this one. Currently this is still a WIP. Even stickers will be replaced with better one during the holidays. The building in its place: Coming soon with more!

Hello everyone! This year in my town there is a Christmas tree... but no gifts yet! Someone's arriving with his old-fashioned van... It's Santa! "Ho ho ho! I have a few gifts for you!" "In the blue one there's a large panettone (typical italian Christmas cake)" We thanks Santa and ask if we can take a picture with him Here we are. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
-
Hello! I's time to show you some updated pictures of my town. In the next days there will be more holidays updates. Yes, it's arranged in a different way, with the railroad across the town. This is the advantage of using two tables... With updated Police station :) More to come!

Ohh, I like art deco and I like this building!
-
Beautiful! I'd like to build a cinema in the next... weeks? months? and this is a big source of insipiration. Of course mine won't be as big as yours Anyway, maybe the best cinema ever!

It's been a long time since I've updated my modular Police station, Compared to other buildings, it was too simple. with a roof I didn't like anymore. So I used some bricks I bought some time ago and I had'n used yet, and I changed the roof: this was the old version: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomaneitaliano/Town2013/summer2013_03.jpg this is the new one: detail Uh, as usual don't ask me about interiors Hope you like

A few weeks ago I did a modern replica of the #310 Esso service station of the late 50's. Now it's the turn of a minifig-scale, modular version of said station. Once again I did this only for fun, using spare bricks and won't last for a long time . I also know that I'm not the first one to make such thing, I hope I can inspire someone to make a better version Garage door can be opened and 4-wide cars fits nicely: And yes, it's fully modular: Hope you liked!
