Tired of the bigger roadsters, I turned them into something smaller: two vintage cars, late 20's or early 30's, different versions of the same model: back for those interested :) More to come.

I like the seasonal, they are perfect part packs for trees! I got both the spring and fall ones, so my town will have more trees

Much better than the original. I like it!

Aaand finally, adding some more bricks, the -maybe- final version of the modular: The main features and shape are still the same, for the roof I've used the slopes from the log cabin A better view the backside is almost the same, with a fenced garden Detail of the balcony. The architecture style reminds me the one used in the '30s in some villas and small houses. Hope you like

Hello everybody! One of the things I really like of the creator sets is that they are excellent parts packs for a good price, and creator buildings are excellent parts sources for a builder like me. I’ve always said that bigger creator houses often contains enough bricks to build even a small modular building (should I repeat the rules and size of what it’s called a “modular bulding”? of course not J ). The first time I’ve seen the latest creator house 31012, I thought it has enough bricks to build a small modular, 16-wide of course (unless you build a ground-floor building). Like every MOCer I have a variable quantity of unused bricks that I use for my MOCs, but this time I’ve accepted a challenge: to build a modular house using only bricks that are contained in the set. It has been done before with other “big” creator houses, but sometimes the results weren’t so good… Of course the result is not the only one possible, but it was done in a lazy afternoon. I think the result is acceptable: it still shows the main features of the original building: a family house with a garage door on the front, a 1st floor with a balcony and a slope roof on the backside there’s a small garden and large windows and those are the leftovers: there could be added more details, but I leave it to those who will eventually follow this idea and would add a modular to their town without spending lot of money more views of the backside and the front. You can even put the garage door on the rear and a shop on the front (I did something different since the majority of my modulars are built that way) I hope this could be useful to someone Now it’s time to rebuild it adding more bricks… (and change the base with a proper baseplate…)

It still has roof access :) the small tower has a door on the back side

I've modified the fire station, now it's 24-wide (I don't ha ve enough red bricks to do a 32-wide building) and it could be arranged to became a corner building. The fire truck still fits perfectly More pictures here (when moderated): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=507528

MOre scenes The money transport van has arrived to the bank. But who are those people hiding behind the van? This guy said he has fallen off from the tree because he was doing birdwatching, but I don't think so...

The tour continues... I forgot to buy the newspaper There's too much traffic today, I think it's not a good idea to go by car... I think I'll go by bus So, I'm in the opposite side of the town I think I'll have a hot-dog, I'm hungry... Dark alleys can be dangerous... More to come!

Just for fun I filled all the roads of my town with almost all the vehicles I have (both MOCs and original sets) the result is this very crowded city Too much traffic, isn't it?

Hello and welcome to the annual guided tour of my town. As usual my sigfig will guide you to the most important places to see in Brickville Here we are, my wife and me. She's going to buy some food stuff Infact she's going in the recently opened bakery It seems that's a vintage cars gathering, I think I'll go there and take some pictures In the meanwhile I go to the station Near the station there's a buiding in construction. No, I won't visit the working area again... Here I meet a friend of mine. He works everyday on his computer and he's waiting for the commuters train Unlike the old station, I can reach the other track using an underpass I meet my wife again at the butcher's shop, near the renewed pizzeria There's this open area, but I thing something will be built soon... There should be a fire emergency somewhere, since firemen are running very fast! A pause with a goof cup of cofee, at the blue cafe, which is a restaurant too now Another friend of mine is washing his car in his courtyard. He still has one of those small old cars that still fits in his small garage Works in progress :) My wife asked me to buy some fruit... I don't know what to buy :) On the other side of the street there's a TV crew interviewing "the man of the street": I'm too shy, I don't want to appear on TV Before coming back at home, I go to the post office to send a letter I hope you enjoyed this guided tour, more to come when I'll add something new. Seeya!

Many thanks to all who voted for my entry. When I've seen the latest entries, I knew I couldn't compete with them :) As I've said before, I'll tear down my service station since there is no space in my town, I already have a bigger service station and I need the pieces

And here's the final picture with my entry link: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=80473 I hope someone will like mine :)

It's easy to make a MOC when you can choose between an unlimited variety of bricks, or when you order the bricks you need (in shape and color) from several sources... It's harder to do a nice MOC using only the leftovers of several dozens of other MOCs...
