  1. Yes, it's friction. Actually, it's a bit difficult to lower the upper deck
  2. I do't really need anyone of the next city vehicle's wave of early 2014 since my town is full of vehicles... except one or two, Since I like MOC-ing :) I've updated some of the exixting vehicles of my town. Do you remember the old camper of 2008? Well, I prefer the new one, so I've updated the #7639 and became this: Everything done with spare parts, of course :) I already had a MOC car transporter, and I don't like the incoming offical set. So I slightly modied my MOC. The car loading system is still the same, and more realistic than the official set: Also updated the yellow bus: I think it's better now ;) Hope you like :)
  3. A classic: just a Xmas tree and a Santa :)
  4. Love all your cars! I hope to see more of your diorama soon, from what I see looks awesome... :)
  5. Really a cool layout!
  6. I have plenty of vehicles. At first I wanted to buy two or three (the car transporter, the camper and maybe the police van) but now I'm considering to make my own MOCs of the same vehicles. Maybe I'll buy only the big tow truck.
  7. I'll buy the lemonade stand for the scooter. Anyone noticed how the scooter can be easily adapted from the Friends minidolls to the regular minifigs?
  8. Hello! When I was a child, the current buildings' scale was yet to come, and all the houses were in the same scale of the first "town plan", the one that contained the first Lego service station, the well-known #310. I still have one of the buildings of the early '70s, the #356 and a fow cars of that age (those survived, of course ) Sometimes I'm still fascinated with that pre-minifig scale, and while many people builds MOCs in the so-called "microscale" size, I've seen only very few people building stuff in mini-scale (or maybe I should call it "'60's - 70's scale" or "pre-minifig scale". Being currently busy with my job, I've put my diorama on hiatus, so when I have some free time, I prefer to do only small things that not require a lot of time. So here it is a remake of the #310 Esso service station, done as usual with spare bricks and using of course modern parts: the size and shape are still the same of the original model. Of course the tanker truck is made of bricks, since the original HO model is quite expensive I think I'll make more stuff in the same scale, even if i'll tear them down when I'll have more time to work on my main diorama (because I'll need the pieces...) Here the pictures: Hope you like
  9. Beautiful! Even if I won't buy it (I prefer building MOCs) it's giving me some good ideas for my modulars :) I hope to see that scooter in another set soon :D
  10. Believe or not, they're equally high
  11. Many thanks I think I'll keep both.
  12. LOVE that telephone!
  13. Years ago I did a hot-dog cart that became an ice-cream one. Yesterday I did a new version, somewhat inspired to the one included in the Grand Emporium. Now I don't know which one I should keep, the older version or the newer one. Which one do you like? The older: The newer: Which one I shoud keep?
  14. Normally I don't do interiors in my buildings, mainly because I would need much more bricks (and money) for something that would be almost always invisible (unless you remove the floors, open the wall, etc. I'll surely furnish the shop's windows in future (some of them are already furnished). This doesn't mean I dont' like doing detailed forniture, so here it is a.. kitchen done with spare bricks, as usual It roughly recalls my real kichen: well the forniture style is not the same, so the colors, but the disposition is almost the same of the real one. Here me and my wife are enjoying a pizza Better view of the kitchen, while my wife is washing something in the sink Removed chairs and table to show the forniture. The brown line is a carpet. The door goes to the balcony. Even the Friends girls are enjoying the kitchen
  15. I've ran out of space, one day I'll build a temporary diorama with a full track on floor
  16. I really like the design! Now it's much better!
  17. Final update of my diorama for now: added the latest vehicles and some details, plus the modular building done with the 31012 creator house: Hope you like :)
  18. Very nice, I like the pumps design I would only change those black tiles with dark grey ones
  19. While waiting the new city set of a car transporter (which I suspect I won't like because it could be 8-wide) I did my own MOC version: It perfectly fits four cars chosen randomly from my diorama As usual I only used spare bricks :) That's how it works: That's all! :)
  20. I hope the car transporter will be 6-wide, otherwise I'll MOC my own version...
  21. I Already have a posto office, but it's near the train station, so it can receive the mail directly from the train
  22. Hello! As I've said before, my buildings are never finished, and every one is subject to changes. Haveing received some new bricks, I've updated my city bank: Hope you like it :)
  23. The white car with the hood on:
  24. Okay, changed also the white one. Now it's a luxury car of the 20s: Like a real car, it has a removable body: our friend is going to show you how to remove it: After over 80 years, this car needs some restoration. The engine needs some tuning Everything is fine now As you can see, this basic frame can be easily adapted to many different types of bodies.
  25. Van based on the red car: Hope you like
