As a BTTF fan, I'll buy this one for sure! (I still hope it will be a 6-wide car, because a 8-wide would be huge for my diorama...)

I simply use the bricks and build my own modulars that may recall the original sets, but this doesn't happen often... Normally the modular I build has nothing that recalls the original set

B-OV-40A I've always tried to build a vintage-styled service station. Now, after a new order of bricks, I've updated my modular service station. The curved bricks and plates add a '50s or '60s flavour to the whole thing Overview. More pictures on my flickr gallery.

Layout New updates :) After a bricks order, updated the following: service station, station roof, yellow building, gas tanker and added a pair of real trees As I said, real trees! Hope you like :)

I had some fun with spare bricks :) I have a small car I did some time ago, inspired by a design I've found in this forum, so I did a small caravan... The guy from the creator log cabin now can reach his favourite vacation place, and during the trip he can even sleep in his small caravan During the trip he stops for a pause in a picnic area A last cup of cofee, and he's ready to continue his trip.

The older creator houses were bigger and, in my opinion, can fit with the modular building in the same diorama, maybe in a separate "residential area". The newer ones are too small, but with some spare bricks can be easily modded. Two or three creator houses makes a decent modular building. It's a good starting point, you can get more specialized bricks later, via bricklink or pick-a-brick.

Not in the next couple of years... at the moment I've planned to add at least something in the shop windows, and not leaving them empty.

A few buildings of my town were slightly renewed. A few changes were made in colors, some details and... type of shop :) the updated buildings In the bookstore I've changed the facade The pub has been closed and now there's a butcher's shop

Finally, I've added the newsstand in its place: on the side of the post office, near the train station (like most newsstands in real life)

I don't know if it's a bug of this version or some previous one: Window's frame 4 x 5 x 1 is missing, but there is its glass...

Following some of the suggestions, I made the newsstand more realistic: What do you think? :)

Inspired by this newsstand I did a version for my city with spare bricks. I haven't added it yet, I'm open to suggestion: for example, should I replace the tan line with a green one? Should I do it in blue instead of green? Here the pictures:

It's an updated version, more realistic and modular. Now even a big truck or a bus can have gas :) in the old versions this wasn't possible.
