Wow, what a lovely building The facade is very true to the buildings you have based it upon, which is very nice and I love the little extension out the back, fantastic detail!! I look forward to some interior shots, happy building

I also have an idea involving PF. Just to clarify, there is no height restriction correct? As long as everything fits on a base that is 16 x 16?

Haha that's a fantastic narration along with this build! Made me smile. And the building itself is great! The facade looks like it should and I like the details around the back too. The billboard is a great touch and the interiors are done very well too I'm still chuckling at that last picture with the broken foam machine Fantastic work and happy building Edit: I too am interested in the diagonal floor, fantastic feature btw!!- 15 replies

Oooo yes!! I like these I too am wondering about the 2014 wave.... I really like the car carrier, such a simple design yet very effective. I too wonder about how the top deck is kept up..? Is it just friction? I like the bus too Great work and happy building

Thanks so much for the broadcast!! Great way to spend my Sunday evening. It really looks like a fun build, I can't wait. It also looks great with the other modulars, even if it is slightly shorter...? It works well with MS, minifgs could jump across and have their dinner on the roof Thanks again and happy building

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
timmyc1983 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Ahahaha I must admit, I wasn't all that keen on Market Street at first and mainly got it so I had a complete set of modulars. But it's grown on me since it's been sitting in my room for the past week. I also forgot to mention that I replaced the Dark Blue 1 x 4 bricks with various light bley brick to save on cost as well. This was a huge money saver, we all know how expensive the dark blue bricks are. So only the façade has the dark blue in it, whereas the sides and back are light bley. It's barely noticeable given the sides are mostly covered by other buildings. I have an LXF file with a moc up of what bricks you need. If anyone wants it let me know -

Great MOC, all the details are fantastic, not just the exterior but the interior is fantastic too. I think I relate very well with the sleepy boy My favourite detail is the curved windows of the restaurant I think but the snow is very well done too, particularly the path being shoveled (poor woman, what a job!!!). Great work and happy building

Wow awesome layout. I love all the details and the cows I love the video too! Hope your event went well and happy building -
Wow, this is an impressive piece of work! And it looks fantastic! There's so much detail in it I love all the random bits and pieces lying around, typical of track side areas where junk just gets left there rather than cleaned up! Would love to see it in a layout(?), happy building

Wow this is truly awesome. Given I only joined EB less than a year ago I only have just now seen your original prototype, which is impressive enough!!! But this update is brilliant. You've put so much detail into the whole project, it looks fantastic! It's a shame you have to tear it all down soon Great work and happy (un)building

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
timmyc1983 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Hi all, just thought I would share my latest edition to my modular buildings. I bricklinked a Market Street 10190. The main reason I decided to do so was because the price of the dark blue arches has dramatically reduced with the release of the Winter Village Market(?). I also found some cheaper ways to deal with the more expensive pieces which end up making it almost the same price as it retailed for!! I replaced the expensive windows with the white window 1 x 2 x 3 flat front... And I also replaced the expensive white hose with light grey hose which looks pretty good, despite my not using grey arms, which I think would look even better... As you can see above I also replaced the expensive door on the ground floor with a standard white 1 x 4 x 6 with stud handle. And finally I replaced the light grey doors (left and right) with a white and black one which are a fraction of the price... Admittedly, I think the white looks better, but they are more expensive (this one was spare in my collection), maybe if they were both black it might be better. So anyway, if you're not a purist and just want some sort of copy of 10190 for your layout (like me :D ), then I hope these ideas help you to keep the cost down Happy building -
Wow, what a train! The details are so well done, in the right setting you could be fooled into thinking it was the real thing!!! Amazing work Happy building

Well I quickly made up an entry, I know there's no rush but I wanted to get it done I also know mine is pretty rubbish but I wanted to build it with bricks I had already and not have to order any, a nice simple candy cane to hang on a branch Hope you all like it and seasons greetings to all!!!
