2015 The LEGO Movie rumors and discussion
Colossus replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Is the Copper-Chopper the only SSP vehicle not yet released? If there has been an SSP vehicle in each wave so far, then I think the chopper is the only vehicle left to fill that spot for the 2015 sets. At least I hope so. That is one sweet lookin' build. -
I showed this to my daughter n she freaked! We both love it, actually. This is an incredible build. It has tons of details and neat functions..Thanks for posting!

Shitty pics notwithstanding, I dig yer minifigs! Yellowjacket was always a favourite of mine. Thanks for posting!

I love the width of your car designs. Being able to sit 2 minifigs side by side in a build seems like a no-brainer, yet Lego keeps producing cars, trucks, even semi tractor trailers (I'm looking at you, Ultra Agents Mobile HQ!) that fit only one minifig. Thank you for posting this build, and also for sharing the file! I may have to do some mods to make a station wagon for the collection. Now, I just gotta figure out a way to incorporate wood paneling.

Incredible work! I recognized it immediately, and would love to have one for my city.

Say...if there are no unique pieces to the Batmobile, then we should be able to follow the build frame by frame n just build it the old fashioned way, right?
-
Nope. But I know a kickass build when I see one. You never disappoint!

That Tlano Bats minifig DOES come with his "cheap-a$$" radio! It's printed like it's tucked into his belt on his right flank. Spectacular detail! I'm so over Batman minifigs, but this one is something else.

The scene of Nograd is hilarious! I live in Northeast Ohio where Lake Effect weather causes snow, but my friend 2 hours away in Columbus calls to make fun that he's outside in shorts playing at the park with his kids.

I really hope a Copper Chopper set is in the works! So far, each release has had at least one Secret Police vehicle, so here's to hoping. Otherwise, I'll just have to mod that Agents helicopter from a couple years ago. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
Colossus replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Excellent lineup! That guitar is gonna come in handy for my Quiet Riot MOC. The 80's rule. The Chevalier looks cool. I can see using the Goth girl for parts besides one just for keeps. That ace of spades card will look good with my Gambit minifig. The Athenian helmet/hair combo might be modified for Thor's helmet. I can myself buying multiples of several of these minifigs.- 1,109 replies

Beautiful Batcave! Say...are those Spider-Woman's legs on The Flash? Nice touch. They complete the figure well!
-
Oop, I meant $20 minimum. And, you're right. Thought those sets were $20.
-
I imagine it's speculation. No way we'd see a Superhero set for $15. 20 bucks minimum. Not to mention it's just the 2 female characters so Marketing won't allow that.

Classic space was either blue/light grey/ trans-yellow, like the Galaxy Explorer; or just light grey, like the little mobile missile launcher, the tiny shuttles, and the one seater moon buggies. The Exo-Suit fits in perfectly with the latter.

GL, Sinestro and a few bricks at a low price. Seeing as how people buy Superhero sets for the characters more so than the build, I think DC Lego got it right. Hopefully this instance is going to be the norm rather than exception. The last DC set that wasn't Bat-based was the Superman/WW/Lex set, I think. And that was a couple years ago.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Colossus replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'd love it if Lego finally got around to making Thor a hair/helmet combo like he wears in Maximum Overload. -
I thought the same thing about that jet. Hopefully its a proto/mock up as far as bricks go. I think it needs more emerald green, especially trans clear green. But I figure since Hal's a pilot, they gave him a cheesy little jet.

Way to rub it in, ya lucky dawg! Have fun! Post pics! Anyhoo, I haven't been this jazzed about DC Lego since EVER! GL and Sinestro! I hope this means the floodgates are open for more character diversity!
-
Thanks, Corny! I do! But, of course, Murphy's Law dictates that the minute I make a "tired of nothing but Bat-news" comment, Lego whips out a GL/Sinestro set like manna from Heaven. Hmmmmm...following that logic: man, I would really HATE to win the lottery. (waits for moneybags to fall from the sky).
-
Man, why can't Lego Batman get its own subforum? I gotta wade through 20 pages of Tumbler- and Zurr-En-Asss- related comments to see if there is anything in the whole damn world that DOESN'T have anything to do with Batman?
-
Too bad it doesn't come with his "cheap-a$$ radio"!
