  1. Glad you all like it! The legs are yellow, but it's a grainy cropped pic from my phone.
  2. I got tired of waiting for Lego to make The Invisible Woman, so I made a custom. Here's a pic: I nailed it! Also, if you look closely, I put my custom miniminiminiminiminifigure of The Atom next to her as a scale reference.
  3. I'll post more customs once I figure out how to upload more pics from my phone.
  4. My sincerest apologies! I bought the visor from arealightcustoms.com. You can find it under the heading "Headgear accessories", listed as Phase II yellow binoculars. I had it confused with brickforge.com, where I found a white Mohawk hair piece for Storm.
  5. Everything is genuine Lego except the visor, which I found on arealightcustoms.com. The boots are decals from finecloniers.com. Not pictured underneath the helmet I used the Avengers Hawkeye head. I think leg printing adds so much to the minifig. I wish Lego would put the same effort into Super Heroes that they do for Star Wars minifigs. The leg printing on Star Wars stuff is phenomenal.
  6. Thanks for posting the comparison pic! I have the NACM arms, but won't get the GB set til Father's Day.
  7. 'Bout time! Wolverine, the ultimate loner, is now on every super team. Also, X-Men continuity is so diluted and convoluted it's tragic. Question: is Marvel miffed at Fox because they are casting an African-American male as Johnny Storm? Annnnnnnnnd...back to Lego. Sad to see the exclusive spent on Batman, and it's another Tumbler to boot. On the bright side, I scored the new GOTG sets, and I'm pretty impressed with The Milano build! Drax makes one helluva minifig. The minifig skulls tattoo is a very nice touch.
  8. George Barris made one helluva Batmobile.
  9. Wow. Based on your phenomenal Striker, I can't wait to see other jaegers and kaiju!
  10. Good damn gravy. Why another Tumbler? I read nothing but complaints on this forum about every other one that's been released up to this point. There's so much potential DC material that could be done but instead we get more Bat-planes, -copters, -boats. GOTG sets have just been released and they look to be selling well. They're not even connected to any released media; just a couple 2-minute trailers and an episode of the animated Avengers show. Surely, established DC characters would do well without Batman or Superman.
  11. Excellent! I'd take that over the halfassed Lego version any day.
  12. I love this build! Very well done. I could use one of these in my City. Of Lego, that is.
  13. This sounds like the perfect Rainy Day Summer Project to me!
  14. Wow! That is just too bad a$$.
  15. Hell yes, oh yeah, and absolutely! Granted, there are other X-Men I'd rather have, but Sunspot en fuego, Blink in her green outfit, and Warpath in his X-Force duds would be particularly keen. Anyone of them beats ANOTHER Magneto minifig IMO.
  16. Say...I have a question. Has anybody used Lego to build any of the vehicles featured in the Marvel Superheroes videogame? One of the threads on this forum has Ghostrider's bike brick built based on the videogame designs. I'm curious to see whether something like the Fantasticar is feasible using bricks.
  17. I agree that The Blackbird and Sentinel should have been separate sets. Instead of 2 stellar builds, both suffer. Thankfully, The X-Jet is a pretty cool plane. Just imagine how much cooler it could have been as its own set.
  18. I just ordered 4 sets of custom arms with the GB shoulder patch from NACM, so they hopefully arrive the same time the CUUSOO set is available!
  19. My local Lego store had The Blackbird/"Sentinel" set available, and I just hadsta get it. While the Sentinel is just as disappointing in hand as in the pics, I have to say The Blackbird is a very intriguing build. I wouldn't have thought that a vehicle this size was gonna look as good as it does with so few bricks. A couple sections reminded me of The Quinjet build, and I dig that tapered look along the fuselage. It's too bad the @ss end of the plane is so puny. It looks really outta scale. But the cool thing about LEGO is being able to build whatever I can imagine. And, in the end it works out for my whole family! My son loves the Sentinel, my daughter has claimed Storm, I have Wolvie with a cowl, and my wife has no idea I dropped 50 clams on more LEGO. Win/win/win/blissful ignorance.
  20. Wow! Excellent set! I love the minifig, and that bike is in credible! I'm definitely borrowing some of your ideas for a bike for my Rider, so thanks for posting pics.
  21. I can't wait to see the interior! So far, it looks like a must-have for Christmas!
  22. I just bought the Inferno set today, and it's a really fun build! Naturally, my son commandeered the flame head piece for Ghost Rider! I need to get at least 4-5 of those pieces from Pick-a-Brick. They come in handy.
  23. I have a custom Firestorm that's aching for a flame top. Right now I have the Mad Scientist grey hairpiece painted orange and yellow. It ain't the same as red trans-clear though.
