  1. Not to be rude but shouldn't this be phase 1, really. Because there is no structure at all yet, so this is just like your phase 1. Apart from that it looks cool, good minifig posing and a chilly Mitgardian look :)
  2. You lucky b*stard I wonder if it is possible to get one with a damaged box here :D
  3. I got two bricklink orders this week and am waiting for a third that has taken quite a long time already... I hope it's not lost ;____; And I just made another bricklink order of 1 Mill Village Raid!!! Finally I'm getting it <3 + some other useful bricks :)
  4. Ah, that's too bad. I really want the set, but I hardly ever find a use for that much black pieces... But I like the ent. And Grima only comes in that set... It's hard to find a good reason to buy it xD
  5. Do you know if Orthanc will ever have its price reduced?
  6. Wunderschönes Häusl ;) I visited Germany this summer and saw some amazing houses in mediæval style, and a few Panzerkampfwagens too... :) The colour scheme is really interesting, and I must try to make a roof with that technique some time :) Edit: I got really inspired from that building... Gotta make some experiments when I get home :)
  7. I might as well make it official, Sigolf Brimabane once again is willing to lend his sword to mother Mitgardia! :) And I don't have the green flag either... yet. I will hopefully have it by the end of this week (waiting for bricklink orders).
  8. Watch this, a video about drawing swords:
  9. Yeah, I tried to find similar pictures but they should be about the same size both of the castles. I think, based on parts inventories and the pictures, that the Kingdoms Castle (I don't own it myself) is a bit smaller. It has fewer parts (not very many), and fewer panels, which makes it a few studs smaller in every direction. Evenso the size doesn't differ much, I think. I just rebuilt my Castle Castle and put the corner tower in the back on the front side of the castle instead, to make it more similar to the Kingdoms Castle. I have not decided whether it looks better yet, at least it looks more symmetrical. The point being that it is indeed easy to remodel the new castle to look fairly similar to the old one :) A thing I just noticed is that you get more shields in the old castle! But the new one has cool flags instead. The old castle has one more minifigure though, but given the price it is at nowadays, of the two I went for the new one, even though I regret never getting the old one in the past :(
  10. I just got the 70404 castle today and building it was very nice. It does seem to be a bit lacking designwise compared to the 7946 castle (which I don't own myself, unfortunately). I don't really know what the prices are now for the 7946 (but they are probably very expensive) so getting the 70404 might be the wiser choice, and then you can just get some extra bricks from BL to modify it with :)
  11. Awesome design :) I like the use of the letter eth ;) Ænglisc scoud stil note ðese staves, ðey make þings better.
  12. This sounds nice, I'll sign my character up again later :)
  13. The gatehouse is beautifully made :)
  14. Sigolf Brimabane (or if I had decided on Sigólfr Brímabani...) votes for Lars Larsson, the roads must be made more accessible and the streets of Mitgardian cities must be made safe for the sake of the citizens. Those Varlyrian mercenaries can't do whatever they want! PS. Don't make the roads too good, especially not near the border, that makes Mitgardia more vulnerable in case of an invasion...
  15. Parts-wise there's no competition, Helm's Deep is the superiour set. Minifig-wise I am not sure, I mean, I have two Helm's Deep, and I don't want any more Haldirs and Theodens (despite their being great figures)... and certainly no more Aragorns or Gimlis... The Uruk Hai are nice but I have enough now, I think. The King's Castle on the other hand has more generic minifigs that can be used in armies, and I am more fond of strictly medieval stuff really (don't get me wrong, I'm a huge LotR fan, but I don't build LotR stuff)... So the King's Castle for me has better figs (seeing as I already have double of the Helm's Deep ones) :) I have just ordered a King's Castle, and I won't be getting more. I missed a chance to get Helm's Deep for £70 which I kind of regret... EDIT: Aye, I got a second Kingdom's Joust a while back for parts and for the Falcon shields :) It is a great parts pack.
  16. Très bien :) The aircraft is beautiful, and the first picture with the background works very well!
  17. I would love anything that has good parts, haha. I actually love the new Lion knights, they have a great design, apart from the slightly simple lion, so if it featured some of those I wouldn't mind. I would otherwise hope for a civilian set with neither blacksmith nor inn/tavern, because we already have that... Since I never managed to get the Village Raid set, I would love a similar themed set, with goats and chickens etc. Or perhaps a docks set? Wouldn't it be cool with some medieval ship and a harbour with a wharf?
  18. I just hope that thing doesn't invade my castle... :( The idea with the dinosaurs is splendid!
  19. Wow, I really hope you're going to build this with real Lego :) This would look great in a western setting with bandits using the mission as their headquarters! Not a follower of the Cross myself, but some churches are beautiful :)
  20. Westu Ecclesiastes hāl! Godu eow gehealden!
  21. Cute little city :) I would like to see you make a bigger MOC :D Hmm I only noticed on that map, in the rightmost part of it, it says "Goolag Archipelago"... I hope that's not a pun by whomever made the map for the "Gulag Archipelago" of Soviet Russia, where millions of Russian citizens died :/
  22. What a "grey-t" MOC ;) :D
  23. Very nice buildings! It looks genuine :) But why is the Samurai armour put on backwards?
  24. This is probably the best LotR MOC I have seen to this date. Together with some great interpretations of Helm's Deep and Orthanc. :)
