    I'm almost sorry I started this post.... I'm curious if there are known issues with the motors and v2 IR causing a delay. The only other issues I could think of are sales or manufacturing demands, maybe supplier issues.

    I'm going to build this just for the fun of it since I have all the parts. When I was a kid my friends and I would build monster trucks with suspension and no steering then make a straight course with ramps to jump. This set brings back memories. :)

    I do not understand. How do you even prep for a project of this magnitude? I mean aside from design how do you even know what parts to bricklink? This is just spectacular!!!

    Expect toys r us to be $10.00 USD higher than lego.com. That is the trend.

    I like the idea of purchasing motors direct from lego. not so called "new" that was actually used in a cat litter box or cigarette stuffing machine experiment. Haha.

    Did you bricklink the motors and remote. Did you get the battery box with auxiliary power port as well or standard rc battery box.

    Find a technic set at walmart I bet you won't. And yes toys r us has an entire exclusive line.... the 8070 was even advertised as an exclusive. Go google "toys r us lego exclusives"
