  1. Easier as in less technical? Is the 42009 a more fun build?
  2. All those red axles and connectors again!!! Awesome replica!!!
  3. Not to much cheaper that is why most of my parts except the connectors are new. Almost all of the connectors were used. I refuse to buy used liftarms for a display model.
  4. Rishab N, on 06 May 2014 - 08:43 PM, said: Just wondering how much do the RC and manual models cost to build? Edit: Have any of you built the manual model? If so do you guys have any pics? I just hit the $350 mark and still need all of the electronics, several lift arms and a couple black bushings (est another $150.00). I had to put together nearly 15 orders just for the red connectors. I kid you not I had 15 tabs open at the same time in Internet Explorer with 15 shopping carts all full of my wanted parts. After deleting and adding everything making sure I didn't have duplicates I hit the buy button on all, roughly 3000 parts total. I had about 10 orders beyond that for the other parts. I was able to get all of the flex axles at great prices a couple months back. I am building the red remote controlled model because I want it to be identical to the original creation. All parts but a few are new. Hope this helps.
  5. Why hasn't the hall of fame entry been mentioned. Has all criteria been met? This is a fantastic moc with hours of hard work behind it.
  6. Right now on display with the six hole rims with white edge. If you go back to the start of this thread you will see dluders explain the tire will be plumped looking on one side. I am happy with the rock crushers they stick very well.
  7. I own the Rock Crusher XT 1.9s. They fit perfect on both the 8070 and 41999 rims. Not sure why one would need to modify them.
  8. Nice review. Sariel also did a video review and build of this model along with the other 1h2014 sets here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=89095&hl=42022
  9. Here is what was left over from my 41999. 2780 x 8 (black) 4274 x 2 (blue) 32002 x 2 (tan) 3673 x 1 (LBG) 54200 x 1 (Tan) 6589 x 1 (Tan) 3713 x 2 (LBG) 4265c x 1 (LBG) 4265c x 1 (yellow) 4073 x 1 (clear) 87079 x 1 (blank white tile)
  10. I have put in about 30 orders the past couple of weeks on bricklink. I am now facing two separate issues. Issue#1: April 1st, I placed an order from a seller. April 5th rolls around still no invoice. After two emails I final got an email from the seller who said sorry they were facing some personal issues but have all of my parts and ready to ship out first thing in the morning. I replied and said no problem but you cannot ship my items until you send me an invoice to pay. Two more emails and no answer. I checked and it says my email has not be read. I also tried emailing direct and checked my spam folder. I ended up reporting the seller for no response and no invoice. Was this the correct thing to do since I did not pay? Issue#2: April 1st, I placed and order from another seller. An invoice came in within 12 hours or so, I paid immediately. April 4th I sent an email to the seller asking when will my items be packed and shipped? April 6th sent another email this time I tried sending one direct from email to email instead of through Bricklink messages. Their email system needed me to verify that I was not spam. So I ended up sending the same email through the bricklink messages. I noticed on their feedback someone else complained that they do not answer emails (2200+ positive btw). Since I did pay for this order how much longer should I wait before filing a complaint with PayPal and Bricklink? This is unfortunate since all of the other sellers orders have been so fast and packed very well.
  11. Another post about to get moved for the 1000th time. Now thats something to be upset about.
  12. This review shows the combined B model. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=77029&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  13. I asked this in the past but how do you know how many parts to start with? Do you calculate number of parts estimate based off of projected scale and weight? Do you use a cad program?
  14. Lego.com says it is Out of Stock which Toys R Us will not match and is against their policy. I would gladly attempt to drive to TRU right now but I am confident they will tell me, sorry Lego does not have them in stock, and will not price match this for you.
  15. How did they price match an out of stock item? I would like to purchase one. Did you show them a print out?
  16. I am bumping this topic too show my interest and hope other people are asking the same question: Will instructions ever happen?
  17. Do you think the errors in quantity are from rebrickable or from bricklink? I ask because I too am making multiple orders based off of the rebrickable list. I noticed bricklink can be very tedious when collecting 4000+ parts.
  18. I really wish there were instructions.
  19. Now that is what I'm talking about. The range of motion for the bucket is 10x better than the recent videos we hand been seeing if the 42030.
  20. I really like the color combination here. Awesome!
  21. I have a quick question related to the "my parts" list on Rebrickable. As I receive orders from Bricklink I have been entering these parts into the "my parts" section. I want to start pulling from my spare parts to use for mocs such as Sheepo's Mustang and Crowkillers Vampire GT. What I am looking to do is avoid pulling parts for one MOC and have my inventory on Rebrickable say I have those parts available for another MOC. On the other hand I do not want these parts completely deleted from my inventory because it took me forever to inventory the thousands of parts I now own. Any suggestions?
  22. @davidmull: You may be correct, the clip is short but after seeing the LA's fully extend the range seems short to me. Especially if comparing the range to effe's recent moc.
