  1. Hello, in March, I have been to Billund and bought an exklusive Billund-Architecture-Set: The "LEGO House" (4000010). Beside the nice building, a fine booklet and a minifigure are included, as well. This is my video review - in German language. But if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at any time. The "real" Lego House will open in about two years from now. Have you already seen this set or have you visited Billund in the past? Best wishes Andres

  3. Recently I and some friends decided to create a Lego Pirates Video Comic Series. The production's title is: "Treacherous Tides" and is in the works, aiming for release of chapter one in early May 2015. It's "just for fun" but we plan on a very immerse story line. It's not stop motion, rather, still frame images with ken burns and sound effects in addition to some cool music. We won't be doing any voice acting, instead we will be using speech bubbles. Here is a preview: (Don't watch the Batman one, it's old and not very entertaining, as it has no sound or motion.) Send me some kool names, and we might eventually use them in the series!
  4. To celebrate this day I prepared a compilation of my Star Wars Stop Motion Best scenes for you :
  5. Okay, I want to include some music in a video presenting an upcoming MOC, and I am wondering some things. First, this is a video with the music I would like to use: Would I be able to use this music, or is using copyrighted stuff a bad Idea? I would think that using music like that would be fair use, but maybe not. In any event, since the artist is independent, I may be able to contact him directly, and ask permission. Do you guys think that that is needed step? Finally, what is a good place to find music that is free to use in videos?

  21. *Notice* I am not a proffesional animator yet but i decieded to push this out here. Tip 1: Always Bluetac your plates to the desk (If you work on the floor like me don't ) Tip 2: Good lighting. Close blinds and turn on lamp. Tip 3: Defeating flicker. Make sure you apply card to the edge of your desk to ensure no flicker. Tip 4: High frames: The higher the FPS you work at the more photos you have to shoot. Tip 5: Always have a clear set up for animation. Tip 6: Clutter. Remove all clutter onto floor to maximise desk space. Tip 7: Voices: Make sure you have a good microphone and clear voice. Tip 8: Music. Use music at the appropriate times. Tip 9: Background. Make sure you have a background so you can't see the hidden horors of your wall . Tip 10: Set. Take your time with the set, its what really counts!!! Take my tips and you will be awesome!
