  1. I tried to build a proper SUV but this looked more fun...
  2. The suspended seat is a nice touch. I would also like to see the blades move faster.
  3. That looks like fun! I imagine a retro tribute to 8865 test car body would look great in studless with a few panel throw in.
  4. Thank you. PM me when you have enough posts.
  5. At this scale manual folding is fine, it would help to free up volume if you need it later in the build.
  6. Looking good already, I bet it will get better as it evolves (like your mini super car did). How big is this model? Would your supercar have fit in TC9?
  7. Great start. Do the forks fold up?
  8. I have the bones of my TC9, A SUV, trailer and compact sports plane with folding wings. It is 69 long, 11 wide and 13 high or 9867cs. I have no idea what the B model will be.
  9. Thank you Jim Great news, thank you. I'm still not sure if I can fit all that in 10000cs so I may just build the plane instead.
  10. They have been around for a long time. Just don't buy a used 8653, 8674 or 8145 off ebay without the original box and instructions.
  11. We are allowed a car & trailer, but are we allow to build something to go on the trailer? Would that fall under the "No seperate models" rule? (Example car, trailer & motorboat)
  12. If I build a plane or helicopter, would the height be measured with the landing wheels up or down?
  13. Technic set EOL's are very predictable. Flagships get 2.5 years other sets get 1.5 to 2 years production. #42030 will be with us until next Xmas. One exception - Last year #42008 didn't retire on time and has only just sold out. I was wondering #42025 could get the same extension.
  14. Is orange with black trim possible?
  15. Great work. Looks like it could be built in other colours too.
  16. I got 295 and 376 off ebay: http://www.vertikal....ws/story/12590/ I wanted to do the "craneception" thing but the 376 just kept falling apart.
  17. 2016 Technic sets available form 1 December in US http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Hydroplane-Racer-42045
  18. Does TC9 have to be totally non PF?
  19. Great competition, thank you Jim and Milan. I had not built a crane before and probably never would have without TC8. I did learn a lot.
  20. 12: 10 5: 6 3: 4 6: 3 2: 2 15:1
  21. I get how your system works, I just noticed that you could have 3 speeds with just 2 motors in to 1 differential.
  22. So with different gearing from the motors in to the differentials you could make a 3 speed with just 2 motors. One motor backwards to slow down and forwards to speed up. The other motor would just be on or off. 3 motors, all with different gearing would give 27 speeds(?) Somebody check my maths, that sound like way too many I like that they would be seamless changes too.
  23. I like how this is evolving. It gets better with every update.
  24. ^Thanks for that! Somebody made UNIC cranes in 2011.... http://www.ggrgroup.com/news/its-a-mini-revolution-new-unic-lego-spider-cranes/ I aslo bought this on ebay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181907746280?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  25. Oh no, where have all the pictures gone? This is a shame as you had done a great job with the new smaller scale trailer.
