  1. I think the Pet Shop is the next modular on the list to go, but I think the Monster Fighter Haunted House will be cut before the Pet Shop in the line of 10XXX series sets.
  2. Very nice MOC with lots of details. It would only take a couple of changes to the interior for that to make a wonderful modular office area for a construction site layout as well. Great Work!
  3. Awesome posters in the background. I love the style of this building and it would look right at home in some of the lifestyle centers that we have in America like the Easton Town Center in Columbus, OH. The only thing this place needs is a poster for that tour to Middle Zealand. That is the hot place to travel if you are from Bricksburg. (Why does Bricksburg not end with an "H" like Pittsburgh or have I lived in Pennsylvania for too many years.?)
  4. Welcome to the forum. I must admit that I was a lurker to the site for 6 months prior to my first post and it took me two years to get up the courage to post in the Town forum with all the wonderful talent that shows off their work here. I love your town layout and the mix of modern and classic 80's sets, although I have to admit that most of your 80's is right at the beginning of my 25 years of dark ages. Very nice assortment of Lego style and very well assembled. Great work.
  5. This is the one modular that I wish I had in my collection. Enjoy the build.
  6. Great Work! We really need more motorized town MOCs.
  7. Very Nice with lots of detail.
  8. I think those are fish. If they were the huskies, I would have that pack.
  9. Up front, I am very sorry. I had to steal the ceiling fan idea for my latest MOC. It was too good of a design element to not include.
  10. Wonderful Cars! My mind is thinking about a town layout called "Havana" where older styled cars roam the streets like they are not endangered species like in America or Europe.
  11. Great Work! I have been wanting to build one of these for some time! Edit: After giving this some thought, you need an "American Pickers" Antique Archeology van parked outside the building. They would love to get their hands on that old Lego "Petroliana."
  12. Very nice detail work on the exterior. I don't see many black buildings so this is a nice twist to what normally appears in the towns. The detail on the interior is also very nice.
  13. Now I am going to have to get the crocodile to do that. Brilliant! Great work on the second floor of the night club. I really like the detail in the new facade.
  14. BlueBrick is a really good tool to use to layout your city. It is used by all of our sister LUGs it for planning layouts for shows. http://bluebrick.lswproject.com/
  15. It is also why most "brick cons" have an time set aside for Adult Swim. It is amazing what those little minifigs do after 9:00pm.
  16. From this thread, my AFOL friends and I are simply amateurs.
  17. When I first saw the picture of the soon to be released Friends Heartlake Shopping Center, I first thought the pearl gold palm leaves would be perfect for a strip club to put in our town layout. We already have a hooker with crabs (literally she has a lego crab with her) that walks our streets during non public hours at AFOL Cons so at least she would have a place for taxable work during the day.
  18. Be very, very careful. Parts that appear to have been "whitened" may bloom and turn more dark/tan after about 6 months. Be sure to read all the caveats on the retro bright website as to things that can go wrong and bad experiences that people may have had in the past trying this technique.
  19. Could be a truck with a blower/thrower attachment instead of plow truck.
  20. I agree. This is going to be very nice when completed in bricks.
  21. Very Nice! The green houses are sweet!
  22. Nice furniture addition. Great review of the set.
  23. Nice scene! The technic used on the water is very effective.
  24. (sigh) Really?!?!? I think I need to convert my latest MOC to a doughnut shop so all these cops will have a place to eat.
