  1. Shooting in the fog: if this IP car model exists (or will), for me makes sense to postpone, and present it as an annivesary UCS set in 2017.
  2. Those connectors prevent the slide of the axles from differential - outwards. That protection is not necessary, but as soon You drive in a bunch of Legos, and one of them get stuck in the differenial... Yo can imagine. So it is a very clever, and useful addition. My guess why we haven't seen this solution before: this is the first monster, what is really meant for above mentioned use.
  3. Good point, I didn't think about this. For some reason in CAD works everything smoother than in reality (based on job experience too).
  4. Hi Máté! Big thank You for the LDD file! I wanted to build this soon, but given the huge part number, I am afraid it will take a while till I gather all the parts. I also played a bit with the colours, and - forgive me - I made a minor change on the front hood (3x11 panel instead of very small panels), so it looks more homogen. Red is sexy too! SuperB model, deserves Blackbird's shelf!
  5. This is my favorite till now in this contest. It is easily up to the official sets, excellent MOC!
  6. What a Beauty! I loved the big brother from erix, and I must say: I love this smaller Version even more.
  7. Great MOC, clean lines! I am curious about the functions, I see some interesting details in the pics. Love the engine hood springs.
  8. I don't have mood to put It on rebrick. If somebody has, feel free. EDIT: found mood The motor is angled, because I love angles. I even own an unique angle collection (incl. the rarest 41.783 degree!). If You make a design, there is several way to achieve the same result. This torn out like this, You can find another solution. Of course, the shorter and the less complicated the drivetrain, the more effective. After excessive test, I can tell you, that u-joints are not that weak, as one might think. edit: typo
  9. Same here, but haven't examined yet.
  10. This will definitely sit beside my 9392 (pimped). They are small sets, but they do replicate everything what needed, with outstanding appearance.
  11. What about these parts? http://brickset.com/parts/design-61071
  12. Superb Reviews Jim, as usual! Thanks! I still like this set a lot... but the wheelie mechanism... so pointless and sticks out from the whole model. If a kid (me) pushes the car, hand on the back, it is super easy to simulate a sudden (!! - yes, instead of rotating a knob for 10 secs!!) wheelie. I could imagine a gear solution: one fixed on the rear axle, and one on the body, with some kind of clutch. Still, this function as idea: great, and something fresh! Will buy, will rework...
  13. Thank You for the great effort, they are pleasure to watch! I do really hope, that the axle color coding is just a test. From my side is a big NO! Dear TLG, do You really want to kill the creaivity, the thinking, to abilities to combine, distuingish? I thought, this is Lego all about. I make industrial designs on daily base, and meanwhile I believe in poka-yoke, I am really afraid to see, how trivial "problems" of real people do I need to consider. As I see, such things lead us on to a way, where nobody can make decisions - even the simpliest ones (picking up a Lego axle-check-YES/NO-build in/search another), fear of fail and need for gathering instant success is greater than ever. People don't want to think, just "plug 'n play". Everything must be told in commands, even for mature human beings. Sorry, it goes far, but this is not inspiring, but... in my opinion. edit: typo - keyboard issues
  14. Thanks! Then I have those... somewhere... btw: they must look similar as the basis is the same.
  15. Nice job, I don't like the real car, but you replicted really well the bodywork! What parts are the speedometers? I need pick up some of them.
  16. I am a fan of the 42050, it is so gnome looking. I see a lot modding potential in it... aaaand at least in the new picures the blue panels look more medium blue, which would be great if they really are!
  17. Thank You all! Glad You like it, and yes, without the newest parts it would be maybe a dead project.
  18. Pitty, that the panels on the plane are white. This would have been the time and reasonable opportunity to bring the very big, and the very small panels in yellow. Waiting for the rest 1H sets...
  19. WOW. Superb detailing, although these are too big for my taste, more sculpting than "playing Lego". - no offense. Do You make models for living? Must be a dream job.
  20. I love Your works (all), this looks so whole, so fluffy... I would like to bite it!
  21. +1 to the above written. Excellent pictures, worth to check your flickr profile!
  22. Hi, I never saw pneumatics (cylinders) on Lego Bricks & Pieces site, I do believe they don't sell them at all this way. Don't make high hopes, but luckily there is a market for such parts: Bricklink.com or Brickowl.com (as mentioned). I have only positive experiences with Bricklink's sellers.
  23. Thank You for the instructions and for the answer regarding the Dakar thing (I didn't know this game) ! I might give a try to build. Do the 81,6 mm balloon tires fit on this chassis?
  24. Good performance, lightweight, very clean look - I like this creation a lot. Get well soon!
  25. Good work, I like the drive chain a lot! The only thing what i don't dig in the name: why dakar (speed race) version, it is a trial (crawling skill) truck. Is it meant for the cabin's look? Don't get me wrong, it is not about the value of your moc, just curiosity from my side.
