  1. Indeed 13L, I miscalculated. ? Great to see improvements, I tend also continously finding better/nicer solutions for my "finished" MOCs...
  2. It looks much better now, but I would make some suggetions: remove the DBG "air intakes" they are not needed. Also use a 15L beam in the rear rollcage (instead of the black 7L beam), which keeps the structure from sliding apart. I know, than You need to find new place for the rear lights, but it is small sacrifice for the rigidity, You can get. I can not judge from the pictures, but double check, if the rollcage can slide oof backwards. I hope this helps for further improvement, this model deserves it!
  3. @Jim I see the point of the limitations, but it would be nice to include the 15413 tire too, as it is included in the 42098. I do believe it would increase the variety of entries, still connected well to the origin set. As I don't own 30699 tire, it would be nice to have an alternative at least.
  4. This is very-very impressive, I enjoyed the video very much! As it should be, a purpose built rig, with true race performance. Some lubrication (silicon spray) for the worm gears can help to extend their lifespan. On the side note: those RC4WD tires are a must for this application, I think we all praise @rm8 for bringing them alive.
  5. UPDATE - I made some minor tweaks in the design, also took some nicer photos (see above). The model is available in Stud.io too: CLICK HERE to download. Both the LDD file and Rebrickable are refreshed.
  6. Just to put it in different perspective and on purpose exaggerated, no offense. Building is fun, each in her/his own way. There is no point to try, invent, develop anything new, as those things don't exist to date. Why spend time on building less realistic LEGO supercars, if You can buy more accurate diecast or RC models for the same money? @BYRON MCRAE 86 Pictures, or it didn't happen! (Flipping the original model photos doesn't count, put some reference beside... )
  7. @I_Igor Thanks! One thing I learnt in the last years: if You can not copy exactly the real thing, or You just skip some features / parts... call it a "Concept", and You are covered. So, just let's start!
  8. @Jim I would add all same diameter wheels, like https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=41513#T=C too. I just found a pair, and have a good dragster/hot-rod vibe about them.
  9. I have built it, made the necessary changes. The rear suspension is still a tad hard, but acceptable, also proper placement of the clutch is very important, so the pins don't get stuck on the bracket parts. It is on REBRICKABLE, also the final LDD file is available (in RED). I just got the subconscious message, UTV refers here: Undo The Virus...
  10. Can we please enclose the wheel 56145 too? The Corvette wheels are more rare, thus less people can join. I suggest to refer to 42098, as it includes both, and also defines the size well. Can be Pull-back motors involved here? I think it would broaden the fun factor.
  11. This went very off-topic... I suggest to apply: "live and let live" and tolerate all kind of RTCs. Thank You. Although it is too big for my taste (and for my flat ), I like the overall look of this crane - and do especially the controls. The only strange thing is in my eyes, are the exhausts on the counterweight. I just would leave them off.
  12. Sitting home, playing around with renders - I made a cover picture in the first post, hope You like it.
  13. Something different, and I must admit I love it.
  14. I like the contrast, of course anybody can change according personal taste and spring force preference. Also using third party parts fits into the concept "Virus". EDIT: as inspiration, get Funky! Also an affordable and viable color variant.
  15. Some details improved, some parts changed for more common ones - I think all changes are benefitial. The best part is, that the clutch is no more a dummy, it has actual function to bridge the 1/2 stud axle offset for the engine cranks, and to provide the rotation. I updated the LXF file too (attention not tested yet IRL, so updates might come), in more accessible red color, can be find HERE. EDIT: obsolete, removed link. It has groups, in backwards building sequence, 380 pcs. Personally, I stick to the lime version, with some viral parts, migrated from CADA set - like black shock absorbers, etc.
  16. Thanks guys for the feedback, indeed 8845 is a great little set, there is something very lovely about it. Checking Bricklink, the parts for the lime one are available only abroad, so I need to deal with patchworking for now.
  17. Old set - old MOD, for some reason I didn't share before. Still one of my favorite small scale, packed with accurate features. Of course I made some tweaks on it, LDD file is available HERE. On real build, I applied the stickers from 8051, which fit very nicely here. I hope You still enjoy!
  18. Thanks, would be a honor! I will share the LDD file later, it is not structured well yet, also some solutions must be tested before release. I just noted, it started to proliferate!
  19. The whole build just feels so good! And that full azure 42077 is absolutely THE love!
  20. + 1 I wouldn't stick to a certain scale, but can be anchor points: a certain wheel size, just like many mentioned before + 400 pcs limit. I would nominate this one, with whatever fitting tire: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=56145#T=C
  21. The digging part was interesting, maybe a time-lapse video of such construction works would be interesting - but keep the length in max 3-4 minutes, otherwise it will be boring.
  22. I have also a non-vehicle related idea. It would be similar, as the computer game: The Incredible Machine, bit something like GBCs. Goal: build a machine to forward a certain Object (ball, small basic Technic assembly) from Point A to Point B. Coordinates of Point A: 5 studs high Coordinates of Point B: 20 studs high; X=30 studs; Y=30 studs away from Point A C-model contest is also very good! So everyone can get into the fun, based on own sets. I think, this is the most viable option to reach most member, also not dependant on Bricklink orders (which will be problematic in coming weeks/months).
