  1. For engine build, and for particular small assemblies I use rather LDD, and then import it into Stud.io. Unfortunately the snap constrains are not very good in latter, but it has the potential. There is no need to fuzzle to build a V8 engine (as example), once somebody did it already. Just take an LDD official model with the required assembly (V8 fake engine as example, included in 42039), undress it by deleting unnecessary parts, save, and import it into Stud.io model. I don't see exactly where and how you would like to connect those arms, but maybe an idea to use sub-assemblies, which can be rotated separately. Might be that it will ruin a model though, due to overconstraining. BTW, some upgrade for the swingarm mount (quoted from original topic):
  2. Not my favorite color combo, but this is nitpicking. Shape is spot on, lot of details = big like!
  3. The photos are fantastic, and love the themed backdrop!
  4. Yellow and the Mustang wheels work very well! I agree with the others, make a super simply removable roof in black, and you are done.
  5. No worries, I got your point and agree somewhere, no offense was taken at all... Let's put it in this way: I succeed to put 1 more function than originally planned!
  6. Thanks Guys! If you read the whole story, you will understand my motivation and goal with this small MOC. Strictly, there is a bunch of parts, which connects the wheels and the engine... Otherwise it would not stay integrated as one big unit, would it?
  7. Very stylish, I like it a lot! Both the steering and the drivetrain are as genious as simple they are.

  9. The answer is more banal: lazyness. Anyhow, here are the entry pictures finally! +1
  10. https://pv-productions.com/product/lego-gbc-24-42060-building-instructions/ https://pv-productions.com/product/gbc-32-road-lift-42060-building-instructions/ https://pv-productions.com/product/gbc-29-heavy-duty-pump-42063-building-instructions/ https://pv-productions.com/product/lego-gbc-17-wing-lift-module-42052-building-instructions/ (This does not utilize the whole set, and great kinematics are used) Only the imagination is the limit, not really the part count.
  11. This is not correct, might be a reason for this perception, that usually there are indeed very big GBC MOCs seen out there. But interesting mechanism can be done in compact form too. It is like, you can have the same functions in a 400 pcs and a 1500 pcs car build, just in different scale. Perfect examples are many entries in TC18 vs 42096. The truth is though: usually people like something much more if it is BIG. It is like coded in our genetics... f. e.: big means more food.
  12. Just like cars. Or excavators. Or trucks. Or airplanes. Or kinetic sculptures. Or any other hobby. Make your selection according to your non-interest. GBCs are fun and packed with nice technical solutions, but as Ideas proved many times - most people don't find them appealing, so TLG will not push it. Luckily enough, we have companies, like https://pv-productions.com/ who turns common sets into GBC. Let all the flowers bloom.
  13. Now, this looks spot on! I would love to have such an official set. Do You have plans for instructions?
  14. @letsbuild let's build! It is looking too promising and too cool to be abandoned. Take couple days off, don't even think of LEGO, and than with fresh head it is easier to get fresh ideas.
  15. I would say, almost there. You must do something with the roof, the A-pillars are too short, the C-pillars are too long. Try to move the roof along it's radius backwards at least by 1 stud.
  16. I just tested with 4L axle with stop, it has not enough space for the end stop collar. It would require significant power to assemble too, so I didn't forced. It was a good thought, but would have lead to the next: how to integrate it in technic frames. :)
  17. Hello @A K, welcome here! You are right, there should not be such forced building step at all. Checking the instruction, I can not correctly understand your problem - I assume all the gears are meshing nicely. Can You please post a picture or a short video to visualize your issue better? EDIT: does the chassis laying perfectly linear? As far I understand in step 271 it still might have a bit of bending like shown in step 267.
  18. As long as the included luggage will have proper working suspension and gearbox, I am fine with it. Honestly, I am not hyped about this set, especially not for the price tag, but I am curious if LEGO has applied their experiences, and offer proper working basic functions this time. I will have an eye on the model, and hope many will find fun time with it! I mean, really.
  19. This is so good, thank You for sharing! I would prefer the australian one, but I am afraid it would not roll smooth, here in Hungary...
  20. After very long pause in Lego purchase, my 70810 got it's iconic brother: 70840.
  21. @4x4mods Almost every 1.9 RC tires will fit, there is 96 mm version of those on f.e.: ebay. You can find reference pictures and links in this topic, worth to scroll through.
  22. It is so stylish, I feel the urge to watch a James Bond movie again!
  23. Yes, it is stolen 1:1. Ali is full with it, beside the longer version you mention.
