  1. What a great little scene. The tower with its combination of tan and dark tan bricks has worked out very well! Congratulations, Gideon.
  2. ... and I wouldn't mind .. .
  3. Yepp, they are meant to be simple, but also some new design approach that I hope I have invented But then, I would not want the two sister ships to fight each other ...
  4. I seem to have missed this (well, it started before my time in this forum) - but it is superb! Good that TheMomix brought it up again.
  5. You made significant progress, and everything looks great (from custom cannons to handmade rigging). The missing wedges on the mast's crow nest would not worry me so much, but again, I am not such a purist when it comes to MOCcing. Decorations for the gallery, that is missing (and I usually find it hard to have a good idea. So I end up using monkeys, etc. which I would not recommend for a serious model like yours). Brick on!
  6. Fine - this got a nice Italian style to it. But I see, you're from Italy (that might have been an advantage ) A very elegant building!
  7. Yes, impressive! I also wonder how you've accomplished this. A lot of digital rework?
  8. I am still amazed about the size of this undertaking. This is a really huge and ambitious project - good luck, keep going! I am looking forward to the next bunch of pictures.
  9. I am seeing a large grey monster with two eyes, mouth open wide.... AT-AT will be great when it is done! Good luck!
  10. Yepp, that's it. You got it perfectly right.
  11. Maloko the Curse Bearer has turned out fantastically well!
  12. Very good MOC. I like the smoke coming out if the fireplace - why is the fireplace so huge?
  13. Good and innovative design. I like the SNOT rockwork around the alien plants.
  14. Jolly good! A very good steampunk creation. Excellent reuse of the hull part of "the Flying Dutchman". I have always wondered what to do with it.
  15. This is really "getting better all the time" !
  16. The admiral looks great, but I must admit I would buy the set for the holocron image
  17. Very well done. Pity the picture is so small. Why are western themes not so popular? Well, it depends on whom you are asking. I always found the topic interesting and I have seen lots of western. So this may apply to people of my age. However, my sons are not intrigued at all. Today, people love the Hobbit, etc. I liked the sets that came with "Lone Ranger" but in the end nobody played with them (no problem, bricks can easily be reused).
  18. This is excellent. It all fits together - the tree, the hut, the river - and the animals! Very well done!
  19. The sleigh is good, but the bear is good AND FUNNY! Well done!
  20. I like Matthias' comics and I agree to his point. We MOCers (not mockers) put a lot of work and effort into our creations, however large or small they may be (a photo comic takes ages to complete). The feedback we get is a sign of appreciation. I have started to post my designs here because of the feedback I got. Without the replies, I'd move to another forum.
  21. We need the monkey! Every set is much more fun with a monkey in it.
  22. You are catching dolphins?
  23. Now I can rest assured. I have absolute confidence in monkeys. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=101762 :monkey:
  24. Great house! The game room is a very good idea. But frankly, I like the hot tub the most. It looks good and is a bit silly
