  1. Hi, here is some more of my work for our little dwarven friends: The Fortress on the Rocks (I am always bad at titles for my MOCs ) I hope you don't mind the black background, but as some snow has fallen, white wouldn't have worked out (and red would have been strange). This is the "left side" of the rather large MOC. My aim was to create a mountain which is inhabited below and on its top: The guards seem to be happy: There's a traveling salesman approaching: .. and a few guarded stairs lead up to a secret door There is the entrance to the fortress: .. .and the entrance to the mountain: A view from the right: Please don't pay attention to the landscape around the mountain. This was just added for the picture. The MOC is intended to be "just the mountain". And then this is all very modular: The mountain consists of three parts. The upper fortress is made up of four modules + draw bridge tower. I have included the Harry Potter secret door, to allow escape from the fortress' prison, but that is more on the funny side of things. I hope you like this and I am happy to receive your comments!
  2. Yes, I have neglected my castles and dwarves for some time but now - in the spirit of "The Hobbit" - it is a good time to return to "historica". Thanks I don't know how to become a member. I'll be probably just posting some stuff. Hmm. Monkeys don't fit in well with castles. I might be tempted to add one of those Power Miner rock monsters!
  3. Fantastic, I love the way this house comes across at different angles. This is so amazing. You even have so many dark tan bricks that you can waste them for the baseplate One question: Does the beautiful custom door actually open?
  4. Very good, very cute. I agree to lightningtiger: Santa on a Segway is great !
  5. Cool, the use of different minifig parts works out well!
  6. Yepp, the cockpit has worked out well. Nice heli!
  7. Micro Eldorado Fortress??? Ok, it is very micro. I think I still prefer the real version for playability. I like the day 5 statue very much.
  8. Hi, I am about to modify my modification of the 7036 Dwarves Mine (I think I can do better now) which I have actually done some time back before all of the LOTR stuff started. Therefore I wanted to capture it before its gone. I was really fascinated when the dwarves mine came out. It was actually the first set which I bought several times. ... and now it needs some re-work
  9. I can add a fourth picture:
  10. To me, the pistols don't look good since I've seen the work of some customizing shops. Once you've seen a decent flintlock pistol you don't use the official version any more.
  11. Pirates will lose ... The other ship has a bigger monkey!
  12. The rockwork in the MOC is very good. I also like the black tower - cool design approach! Last not least you have found a very good way of leading a path upwards. This looks really good, natural.
  13. Excellent work! MOCs in this part of the forum seem to get overlooked. Only one comment so far? This is the perfect steampunk lady.
  14. Turned out great again! However, I am not sure about the "screw-on-head"... I'll probably prefer the guys with the moustaches and the pilot in dark red. If you are producing more of these fine minifigs, bring them on!
  15. Very good. Beats the stuff that came with the toy story soldiers (which is probably not that difficult). Honestly, very good!
  16. it depends: if this guy is in charge, he might be looking for gold You probably need to donate here: One banana is not enough to get them going!
  17. Great - I want to have a harbor like this!!! My favorite is the fishing boat.
  18. Unique. Perfect in design, execution and photography.
  19. Yes, this is fantastic. A bold attempt at a rather large waterfall - and it has turned out extremely well! The trees are so good that one tends to ignore them like natural trees. How many leaves did you use? Amazing. Great scene. The colours of the main building remind me of Star Wars but that should not spoil my positive feedback
  20. Cool! (difficult to say more, as my key feeling when I see it is "cool!")
  21. Yepp, using keys as quidditch posts is really clever! Brick on!
  22. Your solution is convincing. However, I fear it is all cgi. And what I fear most about #7 is that someone may start singing...
  23. Ok, fine! (Now I don't see gray monsters anymore). Why don't they fall over?
  24. This fits in very well with your "Black Hollow". Excellent design once more. Congratulations to a beautiful MOC.
