  1. Hello everyone, this is an interest check for this MOC http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=104797&st=75#entry2137566 Is anyone interested in buying the complete assembled MOC?
  2. Sooooooooo... Speaking of lifting, cranes and stuff...
  3. 14 : 10 16 : 6 13 : 4 17 : 3 11 : 2 1 : 1
  4. Thank you all! Your suggestions and information were very helpful. A partially mechanical solution was found.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm using AAA battery boxes. Usual AA boxes are too heavy.
  6. Hello, is it possible to use more than 8 channels with current power functions RC solutions? I'm interested in original LEGO (no 3rd party) The problem that I encountered is - LEGO receivers have only 4 channels, thus you can power only 8 individual channels. If one needs more channels and adds more receivers - some of them will eventually use the same channel and trigger unwanted simultaneous function use. I didn't have much time to think about this, so maybe there is a simple answer that didn't came to my mind straight away. Could anyone suggest a solution that won't include manual gearbox switches?
  7. Bodywork under the doors. It looks like it was forced to match the pin holes, thus the angle.
  8. I'm so glad that model team is finally coming back amongst the builders! Truly a beautiful moc!
  9. We need more small and compact MOCs like this in the Hall of Fame
  10. I propose to add this awesome car to the Hall of Fame 007 Lotus Esprit 9.5:1 Scale Model
  11. Thank you for the file! I will start building as soon as I have all the parts! Your new mech is awesome
  12. Awesome review Jim! I love the pictures. I don't like how LEGO did this model though. Too many compromises
  13. Wow, they just sent me an email. They told me they will contact me again soon
  14. One of my friends who happens to be an artist once faced the same situation. He dealt with it somewhat successfully. The basic method that he used - he joined a big corporation with a strong layer department, but lost some of his "freedom and independence rights" in the process. But he got the protection, so piracy is not his personal problem anymore. In terms of your situation I strongly suggest you to contact Lego representative that could forward you to their legal department. Lego has rather good legal department and I'm sure both of you could find an agreement and sign a deal by making your content - official LEGO content. You just can't fight piracy successfully if you are alone. You either accept that some of your work will be distributed without your permission, or side with big brother, and let him deal with it for a price. There's always a catch though. LEGO may not be interested in any collaboration. Those LÄZÖR HÄMSTERS could be very handy alternative though.
  15. Congratulations to all the contestants and their entries! It was one awesome adventure to be part of. I want to thank everyone who participated in the voting and I have special thanks to PeterF, -Z-, Petter, Ludo Visser, PeterZeppelin, Scandinavc FH, Rainbow, Poochy, bdouchy24 since their PM's are disabled. Special thanks to Jim for his hard work.
  16. So, speaking of curves and sexy - am I the only one seeing this? I declare it - "the Stradivari Car" or "Stradivary-mobile"
  17. No shape to follow simply gives you more freedom. If one builds an existing thing then he must keep the shape and make it look good. One must keep all the angles, shapes, curves, scale and many many more aspects of the existing design. Which is a challenging limitation. Looking good is a "must have" for any MOC in my humble opinion . If one builds his own thing - he only needs to make it look good. Implementing functions could be difficult in both scenarios. I think that's what jorgeopesi meant.
  18. Difficult situations Compatible with wild animals Unused brain Stig's less known cousin And those stickers are awesome. Very nice build. So densely packed with functions. What did you use for blinking light?
  19. Still the best technic fire truck I've seen. Perfect scale, complexity and details. Just like the real thing And it is 3 years old already! My, how time flies
