Oh my atheism! Holy mathematical analysis! This is jaw droppingly cool! That should solve LÄZÖR HÄMSTER problem once and for all! -

That's just 2 motors out of 4, without gearbox. I will try to complete mechanics render today. More pictures to follow. -

I like your oranges! They are hilarious! I am really impressed by your out of the box thinking on this one. The steering looks cool. Your moc reminds me of some mobile fortress from a computer game. Great job! -

Let me bring an analogy along. IR receiver vs Sbrick. Lets take cars. VW beatle (IR receiver) and VW golf gti (sbrick). They both can can utilize all my needs. And one has some advantages over another. So you guys are trying to tell me that I am doing something wrong, since VW golf gti does more than I need ? That my needs do not fit the spirit of VW golf gti? Sounds like communism to me. I don't think that the whole "fits / deserves" thing belongs to any MOC, not only in this contest. I personally think it is a very wrong concept. For example http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=105527 Does this one fit the spirit? Does it deserve to win? You can't just decide that it does or does not. -

Those are advantages, not functions. Function is remote control - means no wire or lever. Just like IR receiver. Besides "near" is a very subjective term. It's not a digit. Copenhagen is near or next door is near. Who decides what is important and what is not? There is no rule for controlling distance, no rule for "it must move around" and no rule for "Sbrick MUST be important for this MOC" As far as I know this MOC fits within the rules perfectly. -

Do you expect LEGO planes to fly ? It seems to me that everyone interprets words in different ways. Just like people who read the bible. For example I thought that the contest is about using remotely controlled functions by utilizing 4 outputs which, I did. Besides I can hold pretty much ANY of 99% lego MOCs in my hand (I have big strong hands ) so I really can't see your point here. Could you rephrase that? -

Thank you! I just started building it in LeoCAD. Works amazingly comfortable. Hope to completely build mechanics today. -

UPD. I hate LDD, and now I remember why. I've spent 30 minutes trying to move one brick on top of another and spent another 30 minutes to find out it is impossible in LDD. It simply has no option to raise or lower bricks freely! The workaround is somewhat beyond me. You need to place and remove connection bricks all the time or manipulate the floors position by deleting lowest brick in your model. Who the hell does that in a 3d designing tool? You can move bricks on X and Y, but not Z. Why LEGO, why? Any reasonable alternatives? -

There was one in early stages of development, but it required additional constantly working motor. At this point it was a debatable topic in the rules section. It would be very cool, but as build was progressing I realized that nobody would see it inside. So I used that space for some gearing. -

Ahhh, I see what you mean now! Thank you, there was 1 extra 8 tooth gear messing up the direction of the rotation. Fixed it. Thank you for your comment, it means a lot Thank you! Noted! I may try other indicators as well. More photos and video to come! Made some inner adjustments. 1. The whole building time (including planning/concepts, research, ordering necessary parts) took less than a month. The shipping time took forever though. I waited for a week since bricklink order shipped, then I started to draw comics. Somehow it was a very comfort to build. Like I knew exactly what I need to do at each step. I even had a dream that helped me to solve some axle routing. When I posted first comic - MOC was already 90% complete. I didn't have some parts so the MOC looked like clown with blue/red/orange/yellow substitutes . 2. I don't think I have enough fingers to count. I face 2 same problems every time I try to build and count. Either I count wrong and need to do it several times or I count right and have to check it . The second problem - I always run out of some type of part. Like I need 9 more 4L axles but I only have 2. 3. I tried LDD once, it didn't work out. I'm generally good with computer GUI's but not in LDD. I will try once again just to show all the inner mechanics involved. I always liked those Blackbird and others renders. 4. Yes I already fixed couple of things today. Right now it looks good, but I know that there are few things that could be done better. 5. It is always hard to dismantle a MOC for me. I do not know yet. -

I find it a bit tricky subject. While I'm surfing through youtube's legal agreements there seems to be a diplomatic-financial problem between German companies and youtube's royalty taxes. German law requires more money to be paid, so youtube doesn't want to sign an agreement with the distribution right's owners in Germany, and this gives them rights to sue youtube if music won't be blocked.
