Amusing story I think your tower is a bit small/simple for a Phase 3 tower though. Especially the window, some sort of frame around the window, or giving the window a more complicated shape would make it look a lot better. After seeing your storehouse builds I think you could do a bit better with this

Very good start to the Barracks Phases. The landscape is excellent and your fig posing looks very good The pedestal you used to show off each fig is a neat touch
-
Excellent stable, the log bricks work very nicely Cool roof with those dark tan 1x2 plates as well, I'm looking forward to your Phase 3 build

Excellent desert landscape, as always. The circling horses are well posed and I like how the Kaliphlin soldiers all have turbans or bandannas

Cool bird Interesting use of wings for the side of the cart too
-
I like how large the gate is and the wooden shutters are a neat touch The interior is great as well, especially the windows, mosaic, and bear rug
-
Thanks Mike, I was really happy with that cart design Thanks Thanks Ecc, and and you may be right about the headlight bricks Thanks robuko Good idea for the old dark grey tiles, I did run out of normal dark bley. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep them in mind Thanks Gabe! Thanks LV Thanks Kai Thank you, interiors can be a challenge to fit into a build, but I've gotten pretty used to it

Excellent finish to your Archery phases. The architecture of the building looks good, I like the interior (especially the bust ), and your section of landscape is sweet
-
That fort is sweet We don't see enough vikingesque buildings in Mitgardia and this is a great example of what can be done in that style. I especially like the gate and house
-
Thanks LV Thank you, I'm glad you noticed the pavilion on top, that was my favorite part too Thanks! Thanks Gunman, I had fun with the landscape Thanks Carson Thank you Thanks Gideon, glad you liked the cactuses Thank you Thanks Infernum Thank you Thanks Simon! Thanks! Thanks dG Thanks kabel, it was weird using blue for a building Thanks Niku Thanks Skaforhire, I almost went for a checker pattern with normal blue, medium blue and the tan accents, but couldn't get it to work the way I wanted. Thanks robuko, and tan probably would have worked better as the primary building color, but for the contest the castle has to be 90% bright colors Thanks Kai, and I'm actually a little surprised how many people liked this castle, I like my other recent castles way better

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
I think building a battle scene is optional, kabel will have to confirm, but I'm pretty sure you just have to finish all 3 phases of Stables, Archery, or Barracks to enter. @mccoyed: Welcome to Mitgardia! -
Excellent built, Wedge. The blockiness works great for showing that this is a quarry and not just some cliffs The little shelter and the bushes on top are nice touches

Neat way to handle a civil war in Avalonia. I'd prefer to help Simon with fighting the Drow -

Excellent tree designs and what we get to see of your collab build looks amazing, especially the wooden fortress
-
Nice color choices and the curves at the back are executed well The forecastle does look a bit blocky, but I like the use of half arches at the front of the hull
