  1. I really like the layout of your watchtower, not having it be a simple square makes it way more interesting The chimney is a nice touch as well. Looking forward to phase 3
  2. The stout towers give the gate a very strong look Great rubble filling in the walls as well
  3. Entry 3: 3 points Entry 4: 2 points Entry 5: 1 point EDIT: Whoops, didn't realize entrants couldn't vote
  4. Thanks! And yes, Kendrick managed to rescue Basil. The next scene will be up very soon
  5. Thanks Mike, he's glad to hear you like it
  6. Thanks Mike, and thanks for the helpful criticism, he'll work on that in future builds
  7. That is one amazing dragon! The color scheme is beautiful and the sculpting is fantastic The spit effect is great as well Looks like Kaliphlin is well protected
  8. Thanks, and yes he's a goat Thank you Thanks for such a detailed and thoughtful comment, my brother loves comments like this. Excellent suggestion about the rockwork, he'll keep that in mind for future builds. And he wouldn't let Basil die, the next section of the story will be up soon
  9. This was built by my 12 year old brother. As Basil was carried downstream by the current, Kendrick sprinted along the bank. Soon he saw a fallen tree trunk that lay across the river. Quickly climbing onto it, Kendrick reached as far as he could, straining to catch Basil as the goat swept towards him My apologies that Basil isn't clearly visible in the pictures, I forget to take a close up of him. He's just upstream of Kendrick and the fallen tree. My brother would appreciate all C&C
  10. Excellent vineyard and the cellar looks fantastic The wine presses are my favorite details
  11. Really unique approach guys The landscape is excellent and the underwater sections are lovely Especially the light blue/normal blue combo
  12. Very unique architecture, I like how the storehouse has two entrances and the trapdoor on top looks good
  13. Cool quarry, looks like a busy place I like your little cart design and Bombur over by the food table is an amusing touch
  14. Excellent logging scene, my favorite part is the cart full of smaller logs
  15. Looking good so far, I like all the interiors you included Clever anchor design too
  16. The exposed rafters are a great touch The barrel of apples and the pitchfork leaning against the stables are also nice details
  17. Excellent lighthouse, we don't see enough of those in GoH. The water shading looks good too
  18. Looks like Wyndor will be pretty adept with all weapons by the time Liam is through with him. Cool dummies and I like the 1x1 round tiles scattered on the ground
  19. Excellent shed design, I especially like the padlock Neat targets as well and a clever use for ski poles
  20. Congratulations to the individual winners and the Black Spire team for pulling off the win I'm looking forward to seeing the more in-depth judging results
  21. Thanks Wedge Thanks Kai! I was wondering if anyone would notice that icicle. Gabe inspired that cheese slope design when he mentioned it was possible to make a corner beam only 1x1 and still have half stud indentation on both sides of it. After he said that, I figured out how to do it pretty quick Thanks Garmadon
  22. Thanks Wedge Thanks Infernum
  23. Thanks Gunman Thanks for the blogging! Thanks Legonardo, glad you like it Thanks, the unattached water probably wouldn't be in a 'real' set, but that could be easily removed. The rock are actually fairly simple, as only individual slopes are SNOT, they are attached by headlight bricks mostly Thank you, we figured modular sets are usually a bit more advanced than LEGO's general set designs. Well LEGO's modulars are usually pretty elaborate
