  1. Thanks Torgar Thank you, I almost used a second green in the tree to give some different shades, but ended up just going with the flowers and mushrooms for some variety Thanks
  2. Category B for Challenge II , the challenge takes place in Avalonia but all guilds are supposed to help them. Lots more info here: link @Ecc: Sounds interesting!
  3. Thanks Emma, and they do stand out Thanks Carson Thank you Thanks dG, this is one of my favorite tree designs now Thank you, I tried to make sure the scouts were pretty well hidden
  4. The irregular bases connected by the bridge give a really neat look to the MOC Superb landscape and trees as always
  5. Thanks Gideon, I was happy with how well hidden the scouts are Here's a link to a tutorial for the tree, it's a pretty neat design: link You're pretty much right, see the above link for a tutorial

  7. This is my Category A entry for Team Simon. Credit for the tree design goes to Mark of Falworth. Sir Glorfindel had sent two of his scouts ahead to try and find how far the Black Spire had advanced into Avalonia and the best place for an attack. The scouts were walking through a forest when they heard some noise not far away, the two men quickly swung themselves into the branches of a nearby tree. They were barely out of sight when a Drow and Orc commander stepped into view. The two imposing figures then discussed their attack route on a nearby Avalonian city. The route they chose would take them right through a ravine perfect for an ambush. The scouts listened carefully then told Glorfindel of all they had learned. C&C welcome
  8. Finally able to see some good pictures of this The landscape is superb and matches your Ruins build perfectly, the rickety bridge adds a lot to the atmosphere The castle itself looks very majestic, I can't imagine how big Ravens Eyrie will be if it towered over this All of the dark red accents look incredible. Is the large portcullis for dragons to enter through? Excellent windows and arrow slit designs, the use of lightsaber handles are T-bars works well You've mastered your crenelation design and they look great here. And the story just keeps getting more interesting!
  9. The idea behind this boat is great The sail looks fantastic as do the windows in the stern (that is the correct term ?). The dwarf figurehead gives a nice Mitgardian feel to the boat
  10. The trees and ruins look fantastic The flowers and bits of stone sticking up here and there are nice touches
  11. The white section of the gate looks very good The outside edges look a little chaotic too me, I think fewer colors used for mottling the wall could work better. Overall good work, I like all the minifig activity
  12. Sweet tree The bank and vegetation are excellent as well
  13. Excellent build for Phase 2, the stairs and little hut look great Good rockwork on the right end of the wall too
  14. Very cool buildings The black/white/gold colorscheme works nicely
  15. Thanks Infernum, looking forward to seeing your Category B build Ideas are good Thank you, looking forward to you entry Thanks Gunman, I had fun with it Thank you Thanks kabel! Glad to hear you're doing both Category B and C. And I always enjoy seeing more builds for your city Thanks EDIT: Here's my Category A entry: The large battle scene will be up within a few days
  16. Really cool Town Hall, kabel I like the color scheme and the arches give it a distinguished feel
  17. Teaser pic from my latest build (it will be for Challenge II): I'll probably post it in a week or so, I'm going to build and post my Category A entry first (so the storyline makes more sense). Any other Mitgardians working on some MOCs?
  18. Welcome back DM Glad to see you around again, and I'm looking forward to seeing those builds
  19. Very sinister looking ship The long slender design makes it look very swift Great Nocturnus entry to the GNAR challenge
  20. Another excellent interior and the story gets more and more intriguing I like the stone patterns around the windows and the black spikes add to the sinister atmosphere
  21. Magnificent ship, yet again The hull and sails look gorgeous and I the cabin area, the curtains are a great touch I agree with Kai and Garmadon that the trans green in the water is a really cool idea an dworks well
  22. Very unique architecture The cheese slope siding is neat. The building seems to be missing a door though
  23. Fabulous throne room Very interesting story too, I'm looking forward to seeing it develop and all that you and Torgar have been working on. I'm sure the builds will be spectacular Is the build farthest to the right in your sig one of the collab builds? I don't recall seeing it before
  24. Excellent photography, your tree and landscape look good as well I like the pose of the guy peeking around the rock
  25. Cool irregular base and you did a good job capturing a forest atmosphere The mixed colors on the trees work well
