  1. Oooh now things make sense. Thats why this one has a quite different looking Front and is missing the air inlet behind the door... Italian cars really arn't my speciality
  2. That is not a knock-off, just the CADA set that was made in corporation with Bruno...
  3. I am not so sure about that, as far as I can see at least the front is made completely different. No doubt they are trying to snatch some of your sales from your CADA 488, but to me it does not look like they were stealing your design. Probably the same thing Mould King tried to pull by launching a Lamborghini Sian of their own to get some of the Sales from the LEGO Sian. It is the same car in the same color, so of course they look pretty similar. The curved wheel arches help a lot to give the car a very smooth look, but otherwise the your design is probably superior. I have seen this for the same Price as your 488, but no mention of RC or any other functions. I don't think you need to worry
  4. Very intresting, those red curved wheel aches look great, I would like to have some of those for myself The headlights also look like a special piece.
  5. Why dont you just put the Tail Rotor on the other Side? As far as I can see that would fix the problem...
  6. Imo the Center Tunnel is way too wide for a luxury car that is supposed to be comfortable and offer lots of space. You could try to push the Gearbox under the rear Seats and under the Trunk to gain more Interior Space. I know sequential Transmissions work differently, but maybe it can give you an idea: Here is an example pic where I did this with a 6-Speed Manual Transmission
  7. Hard landing? I highly doubt it'll leave the ground on its own power...
  8. @astyanax I like the "liftarm over flex axle" technique and I think it is a nice improvement. Another place that really needs improving is the way the front wheel arches are not really flowing into the curve of the front Bumper. Those 2 2L Liftarms in the front of the wheel arches just look bad. Something like a 2x2 curved slope could be an option...
  9. I like the bike's overall look. The CVT is cool, even though I dislike the use of Rubber Bands in drivelines. I think Sariel made a bigger CVT like this a while ago.
  10. That's what I thought as well... Wouldn't it be easier so skip suff like retracting landing gear and keep the plane as small as compact as possible to keep things light?
  11. Very nice B-Model. I think the Cabin in the upper pics looks pretty good!
  12. I will try to find a solution that uses a part that is in production, mostly because I dont own much old LEGO myself (since I was born in 1999 my oldest sets are from 2000). But if such an old piece offers a real advantage, I'll just get it as long as it isn't really rare and/or expensive. An exeption to this are things like "old" gears. I dont mean really old gears, but gears that got a remake for the worse. Many current Gears have dumb colors like tan or red, or double sided red clutch gears that increase friction . None of that BS will ever be in my MOCs, along with blue, red, yellow pins and axles. When I make building instructions I will swap to the newer Bricks (like the tan 20t gear) to decease the price, but I still use the old style transmission gears to decrease friction.
  13. On any really low car the wheels will touch/rub the wheelarches or the wheelarch liners inside if the suspension is compressed past the normal ammount. Thats normal, but since the suspension on these cars is pretty hard it normally doesn't happen. For me this is no excuse to offer the car with monster truck fitment.
  14. I agree I could brace it better towards the sides, and I would in an actual model. This was just to assemble the gearbox and check out if everything is working properly. Very cool gearbox concept!
  15. Very cute little creation Any plans to make the rear compartment removable to convert it to the yellow version on the pic above? I assume there is some kind of cargo module available for it as well? I think it is a cool model, but could be improved with some more detailling, tiles on the roof and maybe even the modular design i already mentioned. Thank you for sharing this
  16. Very cool and intresting wheel setup, those rims are pretty much never seen in this forum. But the rest of the Body looks pretty fragile imo...
  17. Very cool gearbox design. I made a strong frame. If I will ever build a car with a sequential Gearbox I'll use this for sure!
  18. @shimon Well, Sariel does show and focus on the technic functions of his models right away, removing all doubts if they belong here. That is the difference between his MOC presentation and yours. That was my point, and nothing else.
  19. @shimon I can see why you would want to move it here from the military section, because here It'll get more attention. But I cant say I am the biggest fan of that. Your MOC being removed from the technic fb groub shows that I am not alone If you really do think the model belongs here and there really are complex technic mechanisms inside, why not show them off? Thats probably what most people in this Forum want to see. Maybe I wouldn't have said anything either...
  20. @2GodBDGlory I'll just leave this here, I just came up with it: It shoud be easier to reinforce than your current design. And proof the hole spacing is correct: Looking forward to your future progress
  21. Yeah if you want to hard enough it could pass as a Model team. But using this argumentation most creator vehicles would be Model team as well. I still think this would be a better fit for the military section, but meh.
  22. Very nice progress so far, I was hoping this contest would create some futuristic designs with overly large engines as well And those wheels are just a flex...Damn.
  23. "Does anyone think they can make" does not sound like a WIP topic to me that will be followed up by some actual brickbuilt progress. And If you do want to make a WIP thread, thats cool, but why would you not wait until you can actually show some progress? Thats when it is getting interesting for the readers as well...
