  1. Looks great, you could even slip a picture in behind the trans clear piece, to simulate it being on. An old test pattern would even be cool.
  2. Having just checked out the UCS Y-wing on the other thread, I do like it and it's only $200. It doesn't really seem that much bigger, I guess it's min-figure scale. It is way more detailed though, anyway does anyone know if there are any special new or rare elements included. It actually looks like I have most of it in bins.
  3. Why in the name of all that is holy, would you take a picture of some previously unseen set and make it purposely super blurry.
  4. It highlights that bright light shows through the piece, unlike the one next to it. It does that with most other light colors as well such as, Lime Green, Yellow and Tan, certainly not a "new" thing though. I have noticed this before but really didn't think it would be an issue, unless you are trying to block bright light with a single thickness of plate. Edit; You do realize the piece still has the same thickness and amount of plastic as one of a darker color, right. So it should be just as durable, in theory anyway. If the light did not shine through it like that, the color would have to be much darker, I would think anyway.
  5. Okay I understand the need for ads but this one is getting ridiculous, it pops up while I am in the middle of typing out a response, then after you hit the back button I just get dropped from the whole site. Quite annoying. I really hope this is a problem and not the way it's going to be from now on. To me it's intrusive malware and if it continues I will have no choice but to quit visiting this great site. Totally ruining it for me.
  6. Wow, didn't even know about this set. I don't buy Brickheadz sets but I will probably get this, such a great value and cool parts. Thanks for the headz up.
  7. Wow already building another great model, don't you ever take a break? Looks fantastic so far, look forward to following your progress.
  8. This was one of my favorites, of this wave. It shows you can get a good build experience out of a relatively small set, doesn't have to be 1000 plus parts to be great. That front fender thing does make it seem a bit unfinished though. Highly recommend this set for anyone that doesn't have it, I know I will be getting at least one more, just for the shock, differential, tires and black 5x7 frame and of course all that red. Thanks for another great review as well Edit; It was nice getting the B model instructions as well, something I forgot about until I read this review, think I will actually build it for a change. Seems like I can't vote on the poll, give it above average.
  9. very much agree with @Lind Whisperer
  10. Well done indeed, enjoyed the history lesson as well. I have always been a fan of WWI era aircraft. It is eerily similar to the one on the same page. I guess they took inspiration from the same source as you did and here I thought it was entirely their own creation.
  11. Yes that last $5 was the straw that broke the camels back, for me anyway. I just have to say no at some point. I am glad others like it though, I enjoy seeing the Ideas theme do well.
  12. Nope, I have been getting the exact same intrusive malware hijacking my phone as well. Have done some research on the web address and found it is a known virus. I even installed a virus app along with a malware blocker and an ad blocker. Also went through my phone with a spyware removal tool. None of that has worked. The thing is, it only happens with this site. Also, even if on a rare occasion it doesn't take over my phone, it has made everything respond very sluggishly. Since it only happens when I am on this site, I have to concur my phone is not the problem. Sure hope it gets fixed soon, because I can rarely view more than two or three topics, before it sends me in an endless loop chasing free money. Edit; It definitely started right after the site was shut down for maintenance. EB Your server have virus!
  13. Wow, very impressive @deemen my collection pales in comparison and I thought I had a lot.
  14. Yep a hundred pages that could easily be summed up with 2 or 3 paragraphs and a couple of pictures. Sounds like the Willow set is going to be a pretty good looking set at that price, has anyone actually seen it yet? Actually looking forward to this one.
  15. That's what I was thinking too, I think it makes it look a little weird because of that as well. Oh well doesn't matter since the Y-wing is one of my favorite ships, I will get this for sure, love it.
  16. Indeed, the aroma of male bovine excretion is in the air, I believe.
  17. Very well done, I have been thinking about building these same two planes, ever since I built the new Creator Stunt Plane, gave me the idea. However yours are so well done, I feel somewhat discouraged now. Just kidding probably will borrow some of your ideas though. Thanks for posting these fine planes.
  18. I actually will be getting at least the freight train set. For to long I have passed on Lego Trains, cost too much for what you get and takes up significant space are my reasons why, also not much in the way of expansion sets. Considering how much I like Lego and Trains it was bound to happen, with the release of PF-2, I figure now is as good of time as any to get started. Also sure there are others like me just starting out that think along the same lines. So yeah count me in. Do I think it's a must have set for everyone, not really.
  19. That looks pretty good, reminds me of my Dad's old TR-2. If anything I would shorten up that back-end /fender and maybe, rework that front fender well, a little. Good little car.
  20. Why yes, the clip holder piece clips on the cross members quite well. I believe one of the new Speed Champions set actually uses several of the curve track pieces to do exactly what you describe in fact. Edit; Clips will also fit on the rail part nicely as well.
  21. Yes, that or you could leave it off altogether, as several states don't even require a front plate.
  22. Right on, great to see you finally building it in real bricks. Looks good so far, looking forward to following your progress.
  23. Or not, do we have a price yet? Something tells me it's going to be pricey. Doesn't it have PF and Pneumatics?
