Looks to be stuck on with a mixel ball joint.

Small leaflets, like the ones that come in polybags or small promotional kits?

What a shame, I would drive a hundred miles for some free LEGO.

So your the one that bought up all the microfigs, seriously that is one hella fantastic build, most impressive. The source material is equally impressive. Would love to be able to see all those BIG buildings in person. I am left wondering what is that rope lift thingy at the bottom of the ski slope? I am guessing it is the ski lift, looks a tad scary.

@Panthro Surly when you say "bin" you don't mean the garbage bin, there are so many better options.

Thank you and still not seeing them anymore.

I just hope they make all the track piece variants for each color.

I tend to agree, that is why I have exactly 0 baseplates, though even the full thickness ones Warp and curl. By the way what is the largest size plate commonly available?

Hurrah and hallelujah my problem appears to be over. No redirects since latest update to Chrome two days ago. Man I sure wish it would have come out sooner though, would have saved me much aggravation, for sure.

[MOC][WIP] Untitled Car
Johnny1360 replied to Isamudyson's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well it is the same color and has four wheels, to me the panel shaping is quite different though and it looks to be bigger. Looking good so far, glad to see you giving props to those that gave inspiration as well. -
Lego Jedi Interceptor 75038 wing angle problem
Johnny1360 replied to EggomyLego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have studied that first picture long and hard, blew it up, ran a straight edge across it, and looked at the other pictures as well. Honestly don't see any problem, maybe just a minute difference at best. Are you sure it's not just unbalanced on that stand, leaning a little bit one way? At this point it just seems like you are splitting hairs and will never be satisfied. I know I would be okay with it as it is, but I do understand your desire for perfection. I say let it go man and move on. You have done everything possible to fix what is not broken and are slowly driving yourself to insanity. -
Done with this forum
Johnny1360 replied to Bublehead's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
To be honest @Bublehead I was going to offer some helpful criticism of your original MOC, until I realized that it was the perfect representation of all things Technic and no advice would be acceptable so I said nothing bad about it. Not really sure what the problem is but you seem determined to receive only god-like praise for your creations then dish out thinly veiled insults to anyone offering constructive criticism. Happy building. -
I do really like this set as well and as it's been stated, the track pieces are almost certainly the reason for the higher price. I am okay with that but I will still not be getting it, mostly because of it's huge footprint, just don't have room for it. Those wheels got to go though.Like many others I will settle for the pirate coaster instead, hopefully adding to it in the future. To those that get it enjoy, it looks like great fun, I am a bit envious.

I took it as he wants to sell used, complete LEGO sets in a built state, not in bagged pieces. Doesn't want to disassemble them in other words.

Sorry but this made laugh so hard, it's exactly how we did it as kids as well. Just seems so funny now, thanks.

Definitely a cool build, I do like the all black with yellow trim better. Belly shot please. -
Attitudes and mindsets
Johnny1360 replied to Bublehead's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think considering this is a world wide forum covering all aspects of Lego, with many members speaking many languages it works very well. Not everyone has the same goals with their builds, in fact the diversity is mind boggling. Responses to various MOCs can vary considerably because of this. Something else to consider is presentation of a MOC or title of a post even warrants different types of responses." Here's a orange sports car I made" is definitely going to get different advice or criticism than "here's a 1/18 scale Porsche 911 GT3 RS I made". Sounds obvious but that's one of the reasons I don't like when people change topic titles, it invites a different level of criticism. The fact that we can have these sort of discussions, without a moderator jumping in threatening to ban people is a testament to how respectful people here are of others opinions. I know I for one greatly appreciate all the varied attitudes and mindsets, it's what makes this a great place to learn and teach. -
[MOC] Jeep Mighty FC
Johnny1360 replied to Technonsense's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Ah, that gear, thanks for clearing that up for me, it was driving me bananas. For some reason I totally forgot that gear even existed. -
I actually almost bought it, just for the corrugated panels on the truck.

[MOC] Jeep Mighty FC
Johnny1360 replied to Technonsense's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Cool, that part I think I understand, it just looks like to me from the differential stand point, one wheel would rotate opposite from the other. There's something I just don't seem to be getting, guess I should just build my own POC, might prove useful. -
Right on, already have Rhino Face Off, might just pick up another. I have a feeling those pieces will come in handy, possibly make them work for taller drops. Also I assume the Pirate Coaster is just manually operated, you just push the carts around?

Nice, deceptively simple build, I still can't quite wrap my head around how that front axle works though. Good job. -
Sadly I got this set to get the orange stone, as usual though when I finished the build I was quite happy with it. Since I don't have the previous version I thought I should get this one, who knows when we'll see another. The one thing I found very frustrating was how easy the chest pieces pop off, I was sure I did something wrong and double checked the instructions. So unlike LEGO to let that slide. Great review @kaelthas look forward to more, really appreciate the time you put into this.
