  1. Interesting, Supergirl's torso looks like a ditto of MM Superman's torso, but printed on a lighter shade of blue. Also, I kind of like the usage of Black Widow's hairpiece in blonde on her. Perhaps it could work well on the non-MM variant of Supergirl too?
  2. Nice! I really like seeing Batmobile creations that make usage of those door parts from the BvS Batmobile beyond recreations of that particular rendition. By the way, what reference pictures did you use? I tried looking for images of this specific Batmobile, but with no luck.
  3. Here's a quirky idea, what do you think a Christmas themed Lego movie would look like?
  4. I would really like to see something like this done as a Creator Expert set. Flickr | Rocco Buttlere - 40 Wall Street, New York City
  5. Over on Instagram under #legoleak, there is an image of a pile of yellow CMF blind bags branded under the name "Renault Sport Formula One Team". Has anyone seen these yet, and if so, has it been debunked yet or what?
  6. That's just perfect! Already, I'm liking the way this is turning out!
  7. Thanks a lot for this photoshop! It's strange, but while Dark Azure may be one of my favorite official Lego colors, I'm not that crazy about it being incorporated into this modular. It just strikes me as blah. If anything, your photoshop makes me appreciate the design team's choice of Dark Turquoise for this set. Is that Sand Green you have used there?
  8. That symmetrical look is just awesome. Looks great in red too! By the way, since it's the only other color that arch piece comes in so far, could you also do a photoshop in Dark Azure? Gosh, when doubled up like that with additional clone floors, this modular looks like it's destined for a skyscraper mod! I mean, just look at that other photoshop mod you posted.
  9. I don't think we were talking about the rerelease of classic themes as they exactly once were (a.k.a. set rereleases), just the return of any of those themes as new incarnations (a.k.a. Galaxy Squad for Space, Kingdoms for Castle, etc.).
  10. I wonder if normal "racer" helmets are going to suffice for the minifigure(s) in this set, or if Lego will have to introduce a new mold instead in this case. If Lego simply sticks to using whatever they may have on hand, I don't think there are any other preexisting headgear molds that could work any better than the "racer" helmet that is utilized in the proposal model. Now perhaps I may be wrong about that, if so, does anyone have any ideas for a better headgear part that Lego already has on hand?
  11. Maybe the picture is just distorted, but yeah, Black Canary's screaming face looks awfully cartoonish. As for Zod, is his alternate expression an angry heat vision one? I can't quite tell from the available image. Well, whatever the case may be with Canary, I'm sure people are going to have fun repurposing that alternate expression.
  12. If you do end up doing a third game, naturally it should be subtitled "Batman Returns".
  13. Hey, excellent idea for this year's advent calendar! Will the figures in this series be modern reimaginings of classic minifigures, or something a little different?
  14. I'm pretty sure we would never see complete rereleases of any of the four portrayed in that set. Now yes, I know that the Black Seas Barracuda was indeed rereleased in the Lego Legends line back then, but for something like the Airport Shuttle, that's just a plain old impossibility. Anyway, I personally would rather see reimagined homages of classics as opposed to flat out verbatim remakes.
  15. I don't know if TLG would perhaps be paying attention to this topic, but nonetheless, Castle will definitely return much sooner than Space ever will, for obvious reasons that go without saying.
  16. Yeah, while I didn't mention it, it was the first thing that I thought of when I saw the figure. I never even thought that I would ever see a male minifigure don that hairpiece, but it does surprisingly work.
  17. I don't understand why there is so much dislike for the car in this set. There's nothing extraordinary about it, but I can't find anything particularly bad about it either. Other than that, I'm certainly looking forward to the New Elementary review and breakdown of this modular!
  18. I have a feeling that one particular quote from Thanos in the teaser is destined to become a meme, if it hasn't already. "Fun really isn't something one considers when (insert subject here). But this, does put a smile on my face."
  19. Aw man, so many of these choices are too hard! Naturally, the choice between the S16 Hiker and the S17 Retro Space Hero was the hardest one for me, as even the S16 Hiker is another CMF that's way up there on my favorites list. The thing is, I have a feeling though that the Hiker will be the winner in this round over the Retro Space Hero.
  20. Love. It. Oh, yeah, and the pink Cadillac looks much better in the official images too!
  21. I like when themes are more broadly encompassing, in the same way the DC and Marvel Super Heroes themes are. That way, the theme will live on longer past the expiration of a particular show or franchise when a studio or media conglomerate moves on to other experiments. And yeah, one off sets can be done for classic franchises and newer small scale productions that otherwise would not be viable alone as a theme in as itself.
  22. January will certainly be giving us one amazing gift-with-purchase set! I mean, what more could you ask for? I wonder if it was developed before this survey, or right after the fact based upon all the input from fans.
  23. Don't forget that we've just learned of that sixtieth anniversary gift-with-purchase set being made available in January!
  24. Haven't January CMSs been officially revealed on December 1st in previous years before, or has it typically been much earlier?
  25. Has anyone yet suggested that the rumored Infinity War D2C set we're expecting may be a modular scale Sanctorum of Doctor Strange's? If that were the case, it would be the third non-Creator Expert modular scale set for a third year in a row (the last two being 2016's Ghostbusters HQ and 2017's Ninjago City).
