Heck yeah, that's a sweet streamliner! The locomotive's front is just perfect in its shaping, and I love how the grey Nexo shield works with it!

Would you want to see a reboot of the multifaceted, everything automobile centric Racers theme? If so, what lines or subthemes would you like to see introduced or return for such a revival? Introduced in 2002 and ended in 2012, with Speed Champions informally replacing it three years later, I've always been fascinated by the theme in concept, as its many subthemes were so varied and distinct from one another in a way unlike many other lines' handling of their own subthemes. Though many Racers subthemes from then were too odd or goofy for my likening, I think Lego could do better with such a conceptually restraint-less line nowadays, with much room for a great number of possibilities.

Hmm, have we ever had Brick Yellow (a.k.a. Tan) Nexo shields before?

Maybe not, but like I've mentioned on this topic before, perhaps we just could see sets done for Disney's 2019 remake of Aladdin come around that time; so, perhaps that could hypothetically give us some fairly comparable set material.

And, here's the image of Harry particularly you already shared on the 2018 topic with his new hairpiece, just for @cebelicamya to see if she hasn't already.

Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wait, wait, I've got it! Its slope is most likely the same as that of that 1×1 Nexo Knights pyramidal prism part, but with only two, as opposed to four sides.- 8,371 replies

Tan can also be utilized for Arabian/Persian fortresses, kind of like this set, though it may not be as heavy on the tan like the new Hogwarts is. Brickset - 7573 Battle of Alamut

Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
OK, thanks! You know, both have the potential to be utilized in future "regular" CMFs I would imagine. The hat, particularly, could be used for a new wizard CMF, or even for a new Gandalf if it were recolored in Dark Bluish Grey. Which set?- 8,371 replies

Also, is this only the third time we've seen that new turban piece first introduced for the S13 Snake Charmer, the one seen on Quirrell in Lilac? It was also seen in Earth Green for the S16 Arabian Knight.- 8,371 replies

Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
Given the lightning fast speed this topic is going at, someone might have already mentioned this, but has anyone determined if that's a new lantern mold being held by the giant character (don't remember his name)? Also, new sorting hat mold on the spire's upper floor?- 8,371 replies

Ah, okay, I see what's going on there. It's two of those slopes combined with a 2×2 jumper plate. So I've read, so why did Lego utilize Sand Green in the past for previous iterations?- 8,371 replies

Did anyone notice how the figures are holding the new wand pieces in this rear image? It's like they have a short, perpendicular 318 bar at the end of their main 318 bar to hold them out straight.- 8,371 replies

Here's the image for those wondering: It's funny that you mention tan castles, as I've always thought that Lego should make a Classic Castle out of Brick Yellow as a homage to 375, being a more realistic take on Bright Yellow.
-
I really liked the 90s Space-like aesthetic of the knights' rides, not to mention all those snowplow-like parts and canopies. But, if the theme were set in space instead, I don't think Castle fans would have such a hard time with it, as it would be a Space theme inspired after Castle, not the other way around. I personally feel that this would have been how the theme would have turned out if it weren't for the unholy alliance of Disney and Star Wars. God forbid Lego should step into the final frontier as so to violate Disney's territory. But if Lego insisted that it should, they should be like that, as opposed to spaceships.

What, no Sand Green? Ah well, I'll tell ya, I wasn't expecting official images at all this early; but from what I've taken in so far, yeah, there are a lot of new parts and recolors to process here.- 8,371 replies

We still haven't the foggiest idea of who may be in this movie, but it sounds like from what we've heard so far to be one of a Lego Movie-like scope in character diversity. So, with that in mind, who and/or what would you hope to see in this movie in terms of characters, franchises, and themes? Would you be hoping for more licensed characters, or ones from original themes, past or present? How about returning characters from prior cinematic films, who do you feel and/or want to see appear in this movie? And, since we were speaking of Ready Player One, here's the latest trailer for the film, which appears to show a lot more cameos than trailers before it. Also, a better look at the Iron Giant (looking at you @legonerd54321) and King Kong in this one too. Think about, a cinematic movie could be a way to give us the Lego Iron Giant we never did get with the rejected Ideas project.

What was the last movie you watched?

When you put it that way, it sounds like these are going to be BrickHeadz. With The Nightmare Before Christmas, I don't think that will be likely since it's a Disney property.

Are you just aware of the sets as placeholders, or do you now know what they are specifically?

I'm surprised to see that Mojo Jojo has his head partially brick built, as Lego could have just have completely molded it all-in-one. Now I'm not familiar with the TV show, but is that for a reason, as so his brain can "grow" in size? Also, lilac recolor of the tutu piece for Morbucks, if anyone ever needs that for something else. Well there better be, as I'd be annoyed if only two sets were released for an entirely new theme. It's not so much that I care about it, not at all really, but tiny fragmented lines just annoy me particularly.
