  1. No suspension. Not like lowered/"slammed" cars have any real suspension anyways I'll be using an M-Motor with a hockey spring.
  2. If you don't get a lot of points, that doesn't mean your model sucks. Honestly, there were so many top-level models in this contest, I'm not sad that mine isn't getting too many votes (and neither should you!). Plus, there's still the chance of winning an SBrick even without getting all the votes:
  3. After a bit of sketching in my notebook, I built this loose chassis to get a feel for dimensions and layout: S2000 - WIP 1 by VKTechnic, on Flickr Sadly, I'm not sure I'll be able to fit an actual LEGO piston engine in there, but I'll definitely put as many details, pipes, and wires in there as I can.
  4. Probably gonna build it in yellow, with a dark grey hood and some racing stripes. That was my original choice, but I only have 10 or so blue liftarms.
  5. Those axles are bothering the engineering side of me (I'm sure Alex from LPEPower will understand ), but overall this is a good-looking model so far. Really like the way you used the wing pieces on the back
  6. Hey guys! I've wanted to build this car for a while, and I haven't built a car with 56 x 28 wheels for quite some time either, so I figured I might as well. I also haven't built a "tuned" car yet, so I feel like this is a good opportunity to do just that. (Hopefully, I won't rice it up too hard ) I'll start working on the chassis later today, and hopefully will have some pictures tomorrow or on Monday. For now, here's a picture of my "inspiration": Technically speaking, it'll be remote controlled (of course), and I'm hoping to include a realistic, turbocharged fake engine. Not sure if I'll camber the wheels or any of that "fancy" stuff.
  7. Welcome to Eurobricks Very nice build, sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution!
  8. Man, that bodywork is top notch. Captured that Dakar stance very well
  9. Not the F1 voting! 17: 10 33: 6 22: 4 43: 3 16: 2 26: 1 Very hard to choose the best models out there, great job everyone!
  10. Very unique model choice! Love the color scheme too, it really fits the model.
  11. I actually just wrote a maths paper on optimizing motor choice and gearing based on weight, similar to the comparison of power to weight we're doing here. I was using drag cars as an example though, would be cool to translate some of those concepts here .
  12. Might just be the perspective, but your chassis seems longer than the one in the picture. Either way, from what I can tell, this is a great start, and I can't wait to see the finished product!
  13. Love that you created something fictional; too many models in this forum are of real-life creations (not that there's anything wrong with that )
  14. This is so cute Nice color scheme, too
  15. The last picture with the cat just cracked me up. Great job
  16. If this is what your first supercar is like, I can't wait to see what your next one(s) will be like! Good job!
  17. Yet another awesome model! Competition's going to be tough in this contest
  18. I think my favorite models in this contest are the small ones, this one included. Great job, love the model style
  19. Love the placement of the receivers I'll have to watch the video tomorrow, but this looks like a very innovative model! Great job building at such a small scale (again!)
  20. Wish those windows were a bit clearer...Aside from that, this model is super clean, good job and good luck!
  21. Great model! Wonder what your "opponent" will look like
