  1. When building Madoca's Baja Trophy Truck I was so impressed with the inner beauty of the car that I only ended up building half of the body to showcase the rollcage. This is a great way to showcase shaping and functionality. Well done.
  2. Incredible WIP! The 42009 crane was the set that got me into building Technic and one of only a few official sets that I display. This gives me good reason to start taking it apart! Amazing build!
  3. I really like the creative suspension solution to fit in the Buwizz up front. I can already see myself building two of these rally cars for the kids to bash around in the park. Thanks for sharing this on rebrickable. Great little build.
  4. Congratulations on finishing the Greyhound, it is rock solid.
  5. I like the styling so far. Have you considered removing the two orange insider fenders at the back of the car because I think it will create some very aggressive angles at the back vs. how the back of your car is currently constructed. I think repeating the style of your front fenders at the back may give it a more unified look. Have fun with this.
  6. I like how you have presented your entry. The video is very well thought out. The test department part of your video Cracked me up and carried me through to the over the top Olympic style jumps to come later on in the video. I couldn't stop laughing. Thank you and good luck with the competition.
  7. My kids went bonkers over your bubble maker and now the pressure is on to make them something similar! Bubbles will be all over the place thanks to you! Thanks I think? Great fun moc!
  8. TeamThrifty my comment about building someone elses moc just to help them was a complement to how that is very amazing of the person to do so. It Is an example of how generous people can be and how great this forum is as a result.
  9. I have witnessed a lot of passive aggressiveness on this forum that has turned into full on overt eye rolling rudeness that I feel is generally at the root of the issue here. I have seen people complement a builder while at the same time comment about how others may not see the greatness in some design feature. People see what they see and interpret things based on their experience levels and value systems. There's no need to offend others by saying basically they wouldn't recognise a great build or design features if they saw it. If you see a feature that others may have missed point but out so others can see it and then be in CW of it. I have also seen a person complement another builder on a build that took two years of their lives to create, only to say in the same vein that it does not meet LEGO standards and then go in to explain that this was said in relation to another topic where someone else paid a complement how they thought a moc really raises the bar in some way. People are free to disagree here but what does this have to do with the mic being presented. How would you feel if you created something and had the courage to share it here only to have someone rant away about something else totally unrelated to the topic/build at hand. I have also seen how someone took the time to build a portion of someone elses moc just to provide feedback on how the moc can be improved. That's amazing. We have to take the good with the bad that's just life. We each have a place to share in this place. We may not agree with the content of what is said but we should at the very least respect the voice. This places could be more civil if we just tried to be nicer to each other. It's a hobby after all. Lipko, I have built your Audi and it is awesome. There is nothing in your build that does not do something or that is not supported well. I have it next to brunojj's two DTM cars and it adds countless hours of viewing pleasure for me, my kids and guests who see it. Thank you for sharing the instructions on rebrickable.
  10. I want to say that you've really raised the bar on this GBC but I think more appropriate would be that you've really raised the ball on this one! Wow! Thank you for sharing this.
  11. Makes perfect sense. Amazing build.
  12. I would like to suggest Dugald's Ford Focus RS 500 for consideration to be added to the HOF.
  13. Brunojj1 - confirming that I have yet to ever see a rotating air filter in any car - North American or otherwise - however, in principle it might help to force more air into the engine :) and be performance aiding somehow. :) Kidding aside, I noticed this feature a while back but didn't ask Lox about it because I figured he added it as a creative feature as engine bays are typically bland. Can't wait to see this in person Lox. Now get back to building supercars please!
  14. I've been following your build for some time now, what an amazing journey you have been on putting this masterpiece together. Congratulations. Regarding the silver "C" accent on your moc, did you consider extending a silver flex axle down the A pillar or continue using silver flex axles at the bottom in place of the silver tiles that is right below the bottom of the doors? I see the silver 1x2 thin liftarrm at the front of the car (nice touch to tie into the accent on the side of the car. In the real car this silver accent continues from the front of the wheel well and extend below the entire length of the #2 blue panel that you have at the front of the car. As such the 1x2 thin silver lit arm that you current have at the sides of the front of the car appears to be a half a stud too high in relation to where the accent is on the side of the car. Not sure if I'm making any sense here but at any rate, minor details. I do think the car is too long in front of the front wheels vs. the real car but that said I actually like the front end of your moc vs. the real Bugatti which I think is way too bulbous looking imo. :) Also the rear diffusers seems to extend well beyond the black curved panel 3x6x3 which you've used ingeniously to define the back of the car's bumper. What a great build! well done!
  15. Good luck with the competition! Nice video, build, and great driving.
  16. Fantastic build! Can't wait to see this in person. Well done!
  17. Right on! Thanks for creating such a positive video to help others to improve their skills.
  18. Thanks for sharing this. Amazing moc, video and storytelling.
  19. I see a really cool General Greivous wheel bike in the works. What a thought provoking build. Thank you.
  20. Those scratches add character! Thanks for sharing. It looks like you had a lot of fun making this. Good luck with the competition.
  21. Thanks for sharing this. Great mix and video. Love the bloopers at the end, showcasing how much fun you had.
  22. What a great way to fully emerse yourself into your build subject than to take a ride in the real thing. Nothing can beat real life experiences which I'm sure will help you through your next build. You sir are a true Lego AFOL ambasador and role model for all to grow interest in LEGO.
  23. Thank you for the great review. I found the highlighted parts section to be especially useful.
