LEGO Technic Supercar Auction
KD123 replied to grum64's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks for sharing such a great moc, created for a great cause. Wishing you and Grum all the best with the auction. After looking at all pictures and the video my favourite part is the interior. I think you have really gone above and beyond all of your previous builds in terms of attention to detail on the interior. The seats look great, the blue center council with dual vents that stick out from what looks like a fender piece is ingenious. I also like the unique steering column design (using pneumatic part) as well as the highly detailed dash build reminds me of the real car. The steering wheel in white really pops against the blue round steering cap and is signature pagani. The rear view mirror is a great detail as well. Outside the front beam with exposed holes I really like the looks of this car as well. Congrats of a great moc. -

I really hope it's not the Huayra. Those are special cars that need to be shared with more people :) -

Amazing recreation of the Hoonicorn! You've definately "shredded all tires" on this creation! HOF consideration worthy in my mind. Congrats! Yes that is the steering column? -

The red chassis is hot like wildfire against the black exterior..calling all attention to what's on the inside. ? To that end I would suggest that you remove the red highlights at the bottom of the car (front and sides) to go all in with your styling choice. Thanks for sharing this great moc, I'm hopeful to build this in time to learn more about the chassis. -

Hi Jeroen, The car is looking better with every update! Nice work. I really like how the back of the car is coming together especially the use of the red rigid hose as representative of the break light. I think vs the originally sketch that there should be done blue body part above the exhaust. Perhaps a 2 wide curved tile? Also I can't help but think that the rear is a bit too short as it curves down a bit too fast imowhich then lead to a more rounded back end. Also what do you think about closing the gap between the two panels in the doors. In place of what looks like two #14 panels what would you think of you replaced it with a 5x11 panel? Finally, vs the original drawing it looks like the doors are a bit too long leaving very little space in front of the back wheel. Right now you have a #22 panel there and I think you could stand to use a number 3 or 13 panel instead of you shortened the door? Anyways just a few thoughts, you have an amazing supercar in progress!

Tight compact design. 2 RC motors wow! Love the performance and the accurate replicated looks especially that hood with the curved tiles flanked by flex axles.

Amazing work! I did not know of this car until you posted your replication. After checking it against the real car i'd say you nailed it. The only part where i think you may have over looked is what looks to be an orange turn signal on the side of the front side panel. Depending on your reference model it may not have this of course as this may not be in all markets. Yeah, that's it, other than that you basically replicated this one perfectly! Well done! I really like the cargo net on top of the car! Nice!- 18 replies
