Looks nice. Lots of baseplates Will this be placed on a table? How do you get to the middle of the layout, any hidden "trapdoors" planned?
-
@Lyichir Thanks a lot for your help, very appreciated The back doesn't concern me much, important was the question if I could blend in the front into an existing layout with blue baseplates. Seems to work out, then.

"Now that's what I call a dead parrot!" "No, no, he's stunned." Hilarious joke and an amazing car!

Ideas for new Lego themes! (Non-licensed)

If you wanna hold on to something, you better hold on to your dreams (Stevie Wonder) I dream of a lot of Train set reissues, like it was done in the past with the Metro Liner... -
Hey there! Couldn't find any suitable thread so I thought I'd start one What's the purpose? Finding and gathering information about colours which have been used by Lego and for LEGO pieces. To start it off, I have quite a simple question: I have the chance to get my hands on Set 7047. I was wondering if the colour used for the water on the included baseplate is matching normal 32x32 baseplates in Blue?

One Cypress tree with Road signs from this service pack, 3x fruit trees, 3x large pines, 1x small pine, 2 palm leaves + several minifig accessories and a traffic cone for 10 €, all in pretty good condition. Cypress tree alone makes up for that price.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Capparezza replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Interesting, I see loads of Disney and Batman CMFs here as well, sitting on their shelves ... crying out loudly for someone to buy them. Series 15 and 16 are long gone... -

@dr_spock In the light of what has been discussed around here regarding Train sets and their narrow target group, I can't see that one happening. Personally, I'd love to see this too, but I'm skeptic. -

ATOMIC LEGO !!! Or FRACTAL LEGO??? Hilarious idea, a laugh a day keeps that stupid apple away (and the Doctor too, hopefully) -
Wow, great looking facade. The black iron-bar-doors (what's the correct name for them?) as canopy is interesting, do you intend to put something on top (maybe some greenery) or will it stay that way?

@monkles Seems like a good idea. However, I would ditch the "City" declaration. All over the world the big cities more and more look like one another. I guess it's got something to do with the size of a city. Or maybe it's just that modern house design that looks similar everywhere? Another thing is that it would interfere with Legos already standing "City" lineup. What about "Global Village"?

BTW: If date infos are only available on Facebook, you should make that content available for everyone. I cannot access that Facebook link without registration -

Is this Newspeak in effect? Dammit, our day to day life comes closer to fiction every day... I think Friends has it's own market, even if I do despice the idea of "girlish" lego as well. Paradisa was quite a step towards Friends, but Friends took it at least one step further with their minidolls... Lego, we definitely need a good looking hospital! Not that crap set from 2012 .... -
This thing is just awesome. I remember my Grandma having a weather station on the balkony with had moving stuff like this. Big thumbs up for this original Idea

Oh wow, this looks nice (and looks like a lot of work too ). Can you approximate how many parts you have used for the ballast so far?

88002 is the current PF train motor. 8866 hasn't been used for a long time, and it's not even in the German LEGO store.

Hey there! Welcome aboard and good luck with that cat

Wow. I don't know the original (don't have Super Smash Bros or anything from Fire Emblem), but this looks sooooo cool! Very nice build. The bucket handle as belt is awesome.

Combining PF and 9V into one useful layout
Capparezza replied to McWaffel's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Hell, I really want to see that 3-storey-layout happening! It will be legen- (wait for it) -dary!!!! The Givens & Druthers method just happened to give me some help in a non-LEGO-related problem, thanks a lot for mentioning this very good "problem solution" method, @Brickwolf ! -

Yepp, exactly. If you make the layout programmable, you could switch wagons and / or locos on a random or preprogrammed basis. Well, at the end of the day you can move your rolling stock back into your "secure & locked up compartment" below the table. Let's talk about safety and theft prevention, we don't want any visitors or little kids to grab your precious babies, do we? -

@dr_spock WTF mate, what a hilarious idea. I was having another crazy idea while reading yours: What about a train depot that is located BENEATH the table. Have one "output slot" on the table, were trains or wagons from the hidden depot underneath get transported / lifted to. At the output slot they can be brought onto the rails of your layout. Somehow like handling planes on a carrier .... That would save you a lot of sidings to park your rolling stock on. -
Well, shipping date is when the parts will be packed up and hauled to the post office (or picked up by DHL or whoever). And it's still a few days until end of 1st half of January. I don't expect anyone to get a BuWizz until around 18th to 20th. But I'm looking forward to any hands on reports as well... BTW: Last BuWizz comment was 3 days ago: Still, no idea what this white connector on top shall do.
