  1. Harr harr.... Don't loose hope! Some rebel company will step in soon and build those narrow switch tracks. Maybe they are just in time to save the princess... or is she in another corvette?
  2. Well... didn't see that coming So it seems you both started from scratch. Excuse me then, Mr. Lonestar_TX *bow* Seeing the past problems with copied MOCs, it is no wonder why people come to the conclusion of a "clone".
  3. I remember playing Outrun on a Sega MegaDrive as well as on these Arcade machines. Very true to the original! Good luck with your Ideas project.
  4. Gorgeous! The tender could use some greebling, otherwise it looks very fine. Is the steamer motorized? Or is this just for display?
  5. This sucks... I wonder why people do this? Anyhow, this will never pass a critical mass on Ideas. Even beautiful locos or trains don't get the demanded votes, so I can't see a way that this will get through.
  6. Uuuhhhh someone is p*ssed off... on the Intarwebz! I don't like your rudeness, however: I suspect that if ME Models hadn't stated forehand that they would use normal connectors, which would be compatible with the current LEGO system, codefox421 would have no point complaining about it... but: This was a ME Models statement from 2014, just about the time when this had been fully pledged. The statement for another 9V rail system has emerged in December 2015... So I can understand that someone, who pledged in 2014, is a bit disappointed that a) the rail system has been changed and b) that it took so long to fullfill the metal rail orders. Whatever, it is nice to see metal rails happening at all. That is quite a feat in itself.
  7. <--- Here... I would have prefered normal LEGO connectors as well. Hmph, waiting for @coaster then...
  8. Hilarious! Must have!!!!
  9. +1 for Creativitiy Very nice models, especially the SNOT bits. Dumper truck is my favourite!
  10. @TaltosVT RB magazine is awesome. Thanks a lot for all those inspirations, hints and instructions! I would have bought them all as print issues if I had not been in my Dark Ages back then I'm wondering why to keep the idea of a printed magazine? I am just guessing, but I think a webzine would be sufficient for most of us. This would do away with a lot of additional costs you'd otherwise need to stem. The downside to this would be that you also need to keep the price down, as people are not willing to pay the full price for a digital product. But maybe this approach would be more feasable in economical terms?
  11. Yeah, there IS never enough room for Lego. I'm moving to a new appartment next year but my wife already planned what to do with that extra room we will have... Funny, five minutes after posting here I read your thread over at Doktor Brick and there you mentioned your "Meterware"-attitude as well. Are those old lightgray baseplates or the newer ones? I certainly would have a problem with cutting the old ones, they will never come back in that lightgray colour. The newer ones are still in production though. However, as I am a 9V-guy, I have no problems with cutting those PF switches Greetings from Innsbruck, Chris
  12. Vöslauer Mineralwasser? Are you from Austria? At the moment I am just astonished on how much space you have avaible. Besides that cut baseplate there is not a single thing I dislike. Keep on going!
  13. Sorry to bump, but are there any news about those stores? I'll be around Munich in 1 or 2 weeks...
  14. 10703 sounds interesting, "many Doors and Windows". Even if I might discard the pink and violet parts, don't have any use for those. Might give them to my son so he can tinker around...
  15. I.e. the surfboard :D Hell, yes I do love the smell of Napalm in the morning. And Wagner is great music when flying helicopters. Those Hueys look perfect and the Cobra is spot on too. Very nice.
  16. Very nice work. Lots of cables Nice to see that the crossing is also automated!
  17. Yeah, count me in. I'd like to see another thing happening: 9V trains... hrrr, hrrr... ..... yeah, I know, never going to happen..... *sad*
  18. Welcome to EB! A very nice MOC indeed, that's a great looking Jeep!
  19. I've got some profeciency in graphics and got an older version of Photoshop, Illustrator as well as Gimp. Maybe I can give you a hand with that? Just need the exact requirements for printing and a sticker sample.
  20. Too bad it's only for the US Good luck, fellow Eurobrickers from Overseas!
  21. @technicbear No need to apologize On the contrary, I guess it helps to bring up this issue now and then so it won't get "lost in time". BTW: Saving posts takes a long time again... maybe it's just me?
  22. @technicbear This problem has already been discussed here. Happens for me too once in a while. Haven't had any chance to find out, why.
  23. I like the studded look, very nice
  24. Reminds of the movie "Manta - Der Film", there was a 6-wheeled Opel Manta in Black:
