  1. Thank you! @Rudivdk It is pretty fun to drive, and to (accidentally) crash!
  2. I believe it was @Henni who created the LDD file for the CLAAS, and he used a brick-built solution for the hubs, which aren't in LDD yet. Anyway, for changing the color you go to the top and select the paint bucket and click the brick which color you want to change. If you want more colors that aren't in normal LDD go to the top left corner, click view, click new themes, and then LDD Extended. Then choose the paint bucket, select the color you want, and click the brick you want to change. Once you learn it, it is pretty easy.
  3. If you have the new wheel hubs in e.g. Class, Porsche, you could try this axle. Please note that I'm not the best at building axles, so there could be better axles built for this truck.
  4. Thanks! The main goal was for it to lack in everything but speed.
  5. Thank you everyone! You can find the car frame a.k.a. Skeleton Street Car on the Technic subfourm's main page.
  6. Hi everyone, I'm showing you my newest MOC, the Skeleton Street Racer, but first, let me explain how it came to be... I was finishing up my 9395 4x4 Mod and thought it would be cool to have a car frame to tow around to show it's capabilities. I stole the wheels and tires from the 8041 on my shelf, and built a chassis. I thought I shouldn't stop there, so I made the rest of the body. I told myself I shouldn't make it really detailed, so it wouldn't distract from the truck, but that thought quickly left my mind as the car got more and more on the chassis, and later because @letsbuild wanted to see more of it. When it was finished, I pushed it around because it was manual then. The steering has Ackermann-like geometery, and the turning radius was small, so I knew it would be great as an R/C car. I added a spoiler last. After taking pictures of it with the truck, I took out the steering system and added a Servo, and rebuilt the rear with 2 L-Motors geared 3:1, and a differential. The gear ratio ended up being 2.143:1. It worked great, so the next day I filmed the truck with it, changed the rim and spoiler colors, and filmed and photographed it. So it went from a mock-up car to a great R/C one. Video: Don't forget that I didn't film indoors, but it goes really fast on wood floors too. Some quick outdoor shots: It is called the Skeleton because it is just the frame of a car.^^ The back, where you can see the SBrick location and spoiler.^^ Another one of the back.^^ Some normal photos: Everyone's favorite, the underside.^^ You can invert the spoiler for a different look.^^ Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-6745/offroadcreations/skeleton-street-racer/ LDD: https://www.bricksafe.com/files/Offroadcreations/fast-frame-car/Skeleton.lxf Thank you for viewing and have a great day.
  7. Here is the Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-6736/offroadcreations/personal-armored-tank/ and the PDF photo building instructions : http://bricksafe.com/files/Offroadcreations/personal-sport-tank/p.a.t. BI .pdf Enjoy!
  8. Really cool, reminds me of a Batmobile. Can't wait for the video.
  9. Thanks everyone! My inspiration for the crane comes from @Thirdwigg's Durastar Tow Truck. Sometimes it bends under weight, but other then that, it works and drives great. I think you will soon... I'll make a video and try to upload it quickly.
  10. I finished it a week ago but forgot to upload. http://bricksafe.com/files/Offroadcreations/n40-reverse--engineered/hilux.lxf Enjoy!
  11. Hi everyone, I've finished this and decided to post a [MOC] topic for it. Thank you to everyone who helped me out in the [WIP] topic. Here is the finished model, with: 4x4 drive steering 2 M-Motors 1 XL- Motor motorized pneumatic compressor pneumatic extending crane pneumatic raising/lowering crane Side view.^^ Extended crane.^^ A frame of a car I made to show the truck towing a vehicle.^^ Here it is again, I may add PF to make a fast car.^^ Thank you and please tell me what you think.
  12. They are both excellent! I like how you used the upside-down panels for the air intakes. These are the kinds of models that make me wish I had more parts so I could build them.
  13. Thank you everyone, but I believe I've found the real problem, and it's because I wasn't paying attention. When I started this, I built the real axle first, with a 1:1 gear ratio. When I rebuilt it, I took the axle directly from the black crawler I had built, and it had a 1:1.667 ratio. The axles had different ratios. Sorry everyone. I'll be adding some photos soon.
  14. You can change it yourself if you edit the first post. Anyway, I like what you are doing with this set, but I think you should change the back. Yours is a bit flat, but I think it should be up higher like in this picture. Other than it, it looks good, and I'm excited to see the final product.
  15. So, the truck is almost done, but I have ran into a big problem. Whenever I try to drive it, the rear axle goes off to one side, and something in the drive system breaks, usually a u-joint. I believe it is the lack of a differental, but the chassis of the black crawler I built had a nearly identical chassis, and it worked fine. I need help to fix it, so all advice is appriciated. Once that is sorted out I will share the complete truck. Please excuse the poor photo.
  16. I like it a lot, another one of your MOCs I'll have to build.
  17. That Subarute was pretty cool, hope this one is too. I can't wait to see more!
  18. @Sariel That is a great tutorial, it will definitely help. Thank you everyone, I will look into these solutions.
  19. Thanks everyone! @Imanol BB I will see about the gear ratios when it it done. Right now it is 1:3, but I will probably change it after I see the final weight. @agrof Portal hubs are a good idea, but it doesn't look like I'll be using them. But who knows, maybe I will. Here is the redone chassis: I may have to make it longer to fit the body. ^^ Here are the pneumatics I have to choose from. I also have some in the assembled 42053, so I can use the manual or motorized pump.
  20. Could you tell me what, so I can change it? Also, it is still a WIP, so it's nowhere near complete, so you might like the finished version.
  21. Hello, When I saw the very first preliminary image of the 42070, I was inspired to convert the 9395 Tow Truck into a 6x6 off-roader. After looking at some pictures, I realized it would be easier to make it a 4x4, so I've decided to go for that instead. I've had the idea in my mind for a few weeks, and don't have any current projects, so I'm going to start this one. Reference picture. ^^ Here is what the set looks like, IMO. This is what I want it to look like when I am done. ^^ The functions and features I want it to have are: 4 Wheel Drive with an XL Motor Steering with an M Motor 2 live axles pneumatic raising/lowering crane pneumatic extending crane I don't want it to be a rock crawler, but I want it to have off-road capabilities. Let's get started! I have built the truck with new axles and removed all of the inside functions. It has many problems, though, like the wheels rubbing the fenders and small range of movement for the suspension. Some pics: I'll be redoing the chassis soon but keeping the axles and changing them only a bit. Please tell me what you think.
  22. Woah, that is really cool! I liked your first Samurai, and this is even better, which I didn't think was possible. I'll definitely build this ASAP, and maybe even with electric motors. I'm now really happy that I have these tires, just because of this MOC.
  23. Cool! The front reminds me of an old Ford GT40.
