This is what I would do. -
What I want is a supercar with the "cool factor". I want it to look awesome (like the Corvette C8 concept rendering pictured below) and have intricate functions like butterfly doors and a gearbox with many speeds. Some other wants are: A full body with panels and flex axles, front suspension with a caster angle, proper steering geometry, and four wheel steering.

Thanks for sharing... would never have found these. They are so awesome and functional. I have been blown away. It would be fun to try to replicate some of these with LEGO.

When you add this piece to the new wheel hub, it has the same geometry as the current wheel hub.

Okay. It's fine if they still have the same geometry. Even if they didn't, I could find a way to use it.

Oh no! I was going to use those new hubs, but with a smaller steering angle, I don't know...

$25 for a used 3804 RIS 2.0 with the original CD-Rom, box, instructions, and (I think) all of the parts.

I like both of these and all their details a lot, but I prefer the Grasshopper. I like it more because it uses medium blue panels and is more "funky". :)

True, it won't happen, but it would still be cool if they ever did do something like that. I wonder what the code will unlock. It could be more info on the real car, but it probably won't because it is all in the instructions.

This is unlikely, but what if the special code each set comes with is a password to buy a parts pack to make the Porsche a different color? Maybe it would be free, which could justify the price of this set.
