  1. It looks good so far, but I think you should make the tires the same size for the whole truck. Also, will it be yellow?
  2. Very nice crawler, I'll be sure to build it soon. One question though, does flexing the axles to the side bend or damage the beams and springs?
  3. Hi everyone, Today I'm showing you my new little MOC, the Mini 42065 Tracked Racer. I was playing around with ideas of things to build with tracks, and then thought of making a mini 42065. So I quickly build a chassis, and then build a body off of it. There are some rare pieces, like the sprockets, rubber track pieces, and a MiniZip 9V cable. Everything else should be relatively simple to find for sale. I know the colors aren't lime, but they don't make the small panels on the front in that color. I also tried to add details of the real set, like the stripes and white with red sprockets. Anyway, here are some pictures of it: Normal View ^ Side ^ Back ^ Here is the underside shot, with the surprise M-Motor! You can drive it like the real set, but only forwards and backwards. ^ Here are all the cables I use to power it. It is pretty long, so you can follow it around and change direction with the PF Switch. ^ I'll be making it more stable soon, since it is a bit flimsy right now, and I'll post pictures, so stay tuned!
  4. Sound interesting, there would be a lot of diversity in the entries.
  5. That's true, but they shouldn't have to hide all of the sets.
  6. This should of been the original B-Model. It could've even been the A-Model. Yet another great MOC from you!
  7. Fixed, I wasn't sure the about the exact date.
  8. We actually have to wait less no time at all for London, where we should get full descriptions of all the sets.
  9. Here's mine: It was really awesome and worked great!
  10. Here's the Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/offroadcreations/42054-c-model-monster-truck Also, sorry for the triple post.
  11. Here's the LDD: http://bricksafe.com/files/Offroadcreations/42054-monster-truck/42054 Monster Trux.lxf Enjoy!
  12. That 8880 coloring is beautiful, but after seeing the black version, I got the idea to make the top red. Then, I remembered this. It's a TC5 entry by Doc Brown. The orange looked great with the black and red. So I hope you don't mind me posting my recolor on here.
  13. Thanks everyone. When I first saw the turntables on a crawler, I knew I would have to use them, and this turned out to be the perfect place. I'll be making an LDD file soon.
  14. I was planning on it, but I still need to work on the truck a bit more.
  15. Thanks again everyone! It's crawling over every obstacle I give it. It's a great MOC, rm8.
  16. Thank you everyone! I will try these solutions and see how they work.
  17. Thanks everyone! I think the green one is cooler, but the red one works better. So it's a tie.
  18. Hello, I am trying to reverse-engineer a MOC by RM8. I am having trouble making the front suspension and steering sturdy. Does anyone have ay ideas of how to make it more stable? Here is what I have so far: Any advice is appriciated. Thanks in advance. Here is the video the truck is in.
  19. It is an all-around great set. I think the 42054 is one of the best, because of the ingenious steering, the functionality, and the aesthetics.
  20. On August 8, 2016, I said I've had the set on display for a couple months, but I finally made a C-Model. And it's actually a monster truck. The body is completely my own design. And it uses something I saw in a rock crawler, by the builder "Max Lego." When one turntable turns one way, the other one turns the opposite way. There have to be obstacles of the same size for each axle, or the body tilts. Please tell me what you think, and have a great day.
  21. I really love this car. The bodywork and doors are beautiful, and the roof is really cool. Also, I like the angles in the seats.
