  1. I got mine in last night even earlier than expected, with no import fees that technic addict was mentioning. I have a build that's already set up and ready to try it out, even though there was limited options to go by I found the tracked excavator worked perfectly for what I need (other than having to use a slider for lights). It charged within 15 minutes with a phone charger and connected effortlessly with my app (phone LG G4) the same way buster haus has mentioned above. My first impression is very good, it's small, light weight and has tons of power. I found compared to a lipo and sbrick that even In slow mode seemed to have enough tourque that it was able to move my WIP quite effortlessly (despite it being driven by two xl motors off one port and being 4.7 pounds in framework alone). In fast mode it moved the build along without an issue, with no bogging and quite quickly too. Overall I think it's an awesome little unit, just the size makes it so convenient, the only downside I have is lack of customization however I'm sure that will be soon to come. I hope this helps and answers a few questions
  2. Mine is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, which is exciting as I've been building a moc which I've built specifically to try out the buwizz. Are there any updates on when customization of the buwizz controls will be released?
  3. Looks good, I agree with a few of the other comments though and I'd consider changing the Gearing for the steering and strengthening the drive gears and changing the 8t gears. It's also a bit short and would considering lengthening it to get a more appropriate stance. The suspension looks good and you definitely have the right idea, you'll get there :) I look forward to the bodywork
  4. This is crazy, what you've come up with is brilliant. I can't wait to see the finished product!
  5. Thanks, the car was direct driven from buggy motors and was steered using the output from the buggy battery box.
  6. Well I'm glad I was able to somewhat help in the beginning I'm very pleased with where this project has come! As for mine well I ran into a few snags unfortunately, my first gearbox started to skip and I was already making compromises with it so it gave me good reason to start all over again, then on top of that I'm in the middle of moving and waiting on the Buwizz ;). I have the framework, seats, dash, power, manual and pneumatic functions, sorted out just a lot of finessing now.
  7. Oh my how very indicate you've made this. I love these cut aways, it looks awesome. Not to mention the awesome amount of detail you crammed in there, sway bars, torsion bars, ackeram steering, adjustable seats and that lovely gearbox/shifter you came up with!
  8. This is looking awesome, very recognizable from the front. I can't wait to see the finished product in a constant colour!
  9. I almost prefer it without sticker, it looks awesome. It really shows off the technical connections you had to do to make this work! Thanks for sharing Eric, I'd love to see some more sticker less pics.
  10. Great detail, I wish people did more custom open wheeled cars. Very clean looking mod for the 42000, looks awesome :)
  11. This is amazing, your details are on on point and is instantly recognizeable! Very well done! :)
  12. Looks great, very well proportioned and excellent functions. I like it!
  13. Looking good as always bro! I'm glad I was able to help you out when needed. Definitely your best, most complicated moc yet!!
  14. I love it! The end result is fantastic, I'd love to build it at some point. As for the torsion bars, I like the use and function of them. Yes they may not be "legal" but they are very helpful and give a very good suspension feel.
  15. How very clever/creepy, this is great. Very fluid movements on both models
  16. This is amazing, you really know how to capture the shape of a car. I'd love do see a bare bones version with no decals, well done :)!
  17. I kinda like the tan as well if it's an option, if not the white or gray is a nice contrast
  18. Looking very sturdy indeed and as always it looks soo much better made with actual Lego. How are you liking your design coming from the ldd, are you pleased with the results?
  19. Great details and fun build. Very creative :)
  20. Well done, I love it. Especially the attention to detail on the little things like getting the suspension right :)
  21. Ohh this is awesome, I live the comparison between the two. It's a very welcomed studless alternative
  22. I had figured as much, there's probably not a lot that could've been done. Like I said it's minor compared to the clever mechanisms. And flowing body. Keep up the forward thinking builds, I always enjoy seeing what you come up with next
  23. Well this is definitely looking rugged, I second the 8880 modernized comment! Looks good :)
  24. Very well done as always! Besides the slight scaling issues, which on a car of this scale are soo tough it looks and performs beautifully. I especially love your use of panels, making full use of them to make very smooth/curved lines with Lego :)
  25. I love the functions and movement of the flaps, it's just pure genius! You followed the shape very nicely, other than the roof seems a little flat but then again with your scale and everything else I don't think there's really much else you could do so over all its unbelievable :) well done!
