  1. Welcome to EuroBricks! Have to say, this looks like a BMW got rear-ended by a semi, but the functions are awesome! Love how the back opens to show the mechanics. And the front grille looks great, pretty aggressive, yet smooth with the panels in the middle.
  2. It will be done! RoN classified briefing to follow shortly! (It is too late for photos now, maybe in a day or two)
  3. 1. Welcome to EuroBricks! 2. What kind of help do you need? Design advice? Where to start? Scaling? Please be more specific, it will be easier to help you that way.
  4. One of my favorite sets, the one that got me into Technic. Very nice C-model. How limited is the suspension travel?
  5. Update: 1. I have made very little progress, but Campaign 4 is now out of the way, so things will be moving along faster now. I will be starting to finalize the front suspension setup shortly, I should have a mock-up and photos in a couple days... Thanks. I do hope it will turn out extraordinary.
  6. Looks great, and seems like it would have great performance. I also will add my name to the list of those who wish for a video.
  7. GBW - Campaign 4 RoN Battle for Carrefour Grid Coordinates: Studica - F4 Division 2, Operation Team 8, Toohati BLITZKRIEG!!! As the RoN forces began their attack on Carrefour, a satellite scan revealed a previously hidden LRA battery had taken up a position overlooking the Carrefour International Airport. In order for the operation to capture the airport to go smoothly, a surgical strike was needed, and it was needed yesterday. Flagstone Squad was selected. The top-ranked squadron in the Toohati Nightguards, this elite Special Forces team was known for having never failed a mission. Once orders were received, the squad was dispatched under cover of darkness. A briefing took place en route, and 27 minutes later, the RAAV (Rapid Assault Armored Vehicle) had penetrated to the heart of Carrefour. It stopped a block short of their objective to unload the team.... Sgt. Leo "Brick" DeClay: "Sitrep, CoAC jamming is in place. Commie, get in your Tuba, we need a link to HQ. Kong, go AP on your load-out. We've got no idea whether they will have vehicle support. Rad, you good?" Sgt. Dietrich "Radaghast" Chvala: "I good. We go now, ja?" Sgt. Leo: "Commie, you up and running?" Tech. Joey "Commie" Staline: "Yup. I hate this thing... You owe me a drink. All of you, when this is over." Sgt. Xander "King Kong" Rasine: I'm ready, let's go. No MegaBlockers are gonna hold us back!" Sgt. Leo: "Comms check." Sgt. Chvala: "Radaghast reads you." Sgt. Rasine: "Kong reads." Tech. Staline: "Commie, check." Sgt. Leo: "Move out, this op should be accomplished in 15 minutes." The team moved silently down the deserted street, accompanied by the low rumbling of the RAAV. Reaching the crossroads, they saw the CoAC troops engaged in a drinking game.... GBW-CP4 Toohati Sgt. Leo: "Hit 'em hard and fast. No squirters on this one." The squad broke into a run, and rushed towards the park. None of the CoAC soldiers noticed. GBW-CP4 Toohati Sgt. Rasine: "I count four hostiles." Sgt. Leo: "Take 'em down." A series of muffled pops signified the deaths of several CoAC soldiers. GBW-CP4 Toohati Sgt. Chvala: "One runner, he got a long gun!" GBW-CP4 Toohati GBW-CP4 Toohati Sgt. Rasine: "Mine. Eat lead, MegaBlocker!" GBW-CP4 Toohati Sgt. Leo: "All clear. Hostiles down." Sgt. Chvala: "One alive. Out from drinking. Up, you MegaBlocker, get up! Hands in sight!" GBW- CP4 Toohati Sgt. Leo: "Commie, tell HQ we secured the LRA, with one prisoner." Tech. Staline: "RoN Central Command, the LRA is secured, and we have one prisoner for the spooks. Go take that airfield! Flagstone out." GBW-CP4 Toohati _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Not what I was hoping for with my build, college took over my life, but it serves my purpose. C&C welcome, thanks for looking! - Leonardo da Bricki
  8. It is already available in the new Carousel set. I think there are 8 in it...
  9. I cannot believe how fast you make each new car.... Performance on this one is awesome, but aesthetically, not your best. Overall, good work.
  10. If I get one of these sets (that we have official images of) I'd be getting the racing boat, which has a decent parts selection without too much color vomit. And maybe the little dump truck just for the panels in Dark Bley. But first I need to see photos of the bigger sets....
  11. I think you are right. I will wait for the video!
  12. YES!!! Please, do share the whole list! I will wait for the video, so you don't have to explain it all here.... Unless you want to!
  13. Amazing build! 23 motors.... Wow. This makes the Claas tires look tiny! Which motor control what functions on this monster? Also, welcome back! And +1 HoF!
  14. @Didumos69 You said what I was trying to say in a much better way! Thanks! And yes, I will be inclining the entire front suspension module for the purpose of caster angle. That is partly why I cannot use a longer lower arm.
  15. Great design! It looks awesome, I really like the spindly appendages. But where is the plate of BBQ Batman?!
  16. After a lot of testing with the front suspension, I have decided that the arms will be mounted with two studs in between them, which will lead to the same effect as the uneven arms. Why am I doing this? Because I want to have caster angle in this model. If the lower arms are 7 studs, as opposed to 6, there is not enough room for mounting the axle at angle. Not to mention that the uneven length puts a bit of stress and creates friction on the wheel hub and the sockets connected to it. However, uneven length suspension arms in the rear is possible, and should work well. Photos will come tomorrow!
  17. Looks like an interesting project. I like the steering solution with the Servo. Maybe put some sort of plow/scoop on the front?
  18. Cool! This ATV was one of possible future projects, and you executed it brilliantly! Great performance, it is just like the real Sherp. Glad to have you back!
  19. I have those parts, and I did consider using them. The only issue with them is that the steering arms are not placed horizontally. Otherwise I would have used them.
  20. RC tires are always expensive, unless you're lucky and get a decent deal. The hardest part is finding the right size tires.... I doubt I will be buying anything.
  21. @Jurss If I had those parts, that would be interesting to attempt. Sadly, I do not have them, and they are quite expensive now. I do indeed wish there were tires like that. I will have to look around at my local RC hobby shop.
  22. Update: Gearbox is more/less finished, thanks to @dgustafsson for the original design! Suspension is still mostly theoretical, I need to figure out how the uneven length wishbones are going to work... Photos!!! [WIP] Ariel Nomad Sorry for the crappy quality, but it is a WIP. [WIP] Ariel Nomad The front suspension is the one on the right. Rear is the one on the left, and no, it isn't upside down, I just haven't extended the bottom arm yet.
  23. Looks pretty darn good! IMO though, a bit of color might spruce up the appearance, but overall, awesome Jeep!
  24. I will be using those for sure, but I do want it to be able to use the Tumbler tires, as I bought them specifically for this vehicle. So you will be seeing both tires being used. If/when I make an RC model, it will use the 42037 tires.
