  1. Great photos, and a decent video. @kbalage Can you post a photo of the instruction page(s) with the inventory list? This set has mediocre looks, the same lame functions done the same lame way, and another megablocking shade of blue!!! This is so stupid! The only blue I have so far is some med. blue panels, and then some med. azure from the drag racer... If I ever get this set, it'll be at a deep discount for use as a parts pack mostly for those black 5x7 frames! Anyone want to do the math and see if 42039 can be built with dark azure instead of bright green?
  2. Love the colors on this model, it looks great. The torque is very impressive. What was the angle of the board it was driving sideways on? I was amazed it didn't flip over.
  3. Wow... Incredible model. The gearbox/steering mechanism is awesome! How did you get it to work? And what about when it's in reverse?
  4. @paintballman Sorry, it is already party dismantled. Plus, the side view had too much black from the sides of the base, which took away from the build, so I chose a front view. And also to show off the "I need you" sign I built.
  5. Awesome build Stash! The figs are terrific, perfect for the detailed winter scene.
  6. Thanks Stash. The rocks were so hard to do... I spent hours making them look as natural as possible with right-angled parts.
  7. Thanks! But it is sand green, not olive green, I guess the lighting altered it.
  8. Awesome build! Love the snot sidewalk, and the vendor stall is superbly detailed!
  9. Beautiful GT, it looks perfect! Clean lines, excellent body, especially for this scale.
  10. Pretty nice buggy. I like the rollcage.
  11. Nice video, and a cool solution. Love the end of it, that was perfect!
  12. Toohati Ambassador to the Brick of Nations, Victoria Wilson Declaring War Lies! Deceptions! Trickery! What is this rhetoric you spew, Ambassador Bricknuss?! First you show photo of a supposed single spy, then you ask: Is any of this even true?! There has been no attack! There has been no "invasion!" What kind of puny powers does your "sovereign nation" wield that another nation could possibly build a full-scale base without your knowledge or consent? And furthermore, if we are to believe you and your fairy-tales, surely you would have brought this matter up before such a base was completely established?! In addition to all this, in your first statement presented to the Brick of Nations, you stated: And even now you claim that Toohati has been the first nation to declare war when our ally has not. Your own words convict you. By your statement, war was long ago declared on you by both the Commonwealth of Southern Territories and Filace. When Toohati stands up and says we will fight alongside our ally, and declares war on Xenor, it is because you have said that a state of war exists between Xenor and our ally, the Commonwealth of Southern Territories! Toohati will not tolerate such actions, lies, insults, and treachery anymore.
  13. Thanks. I loosely based it's shape off the iconic Abrams bc it is easier to replicate, it has a lot fewer angles and no curves. I have worked on eliminating the gaps in an LDD file using new parts I don't actually own yet, which works well. The barrel seems fine to me, but maybe adding a stud or two of length. The way the turret is designed, it is hard to mount such things, especially with the grilles on it. I'll probably add some in the future. It's approximately 8 bricks tall, not counting the antennae.
  14. GBW TNN Reporting "I am your host Samuel Cook, and tonight on the Toohati News Network, I am joined by Director Avery Eslinger, and we have a special report from the Department of Weapons Acquisition, Research, and Development. The Toohati National Army has finished all phases of development of its latest, and greatest, armored vehicle! The new 'Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle' is now being deployed across our nation, and we are here to bring you the first photos ever released! Take a look at these!" Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle Rapid Assault, Armored Vehicle "Now, Director Eslinger, since you're in the hot seat, I have some questions for you." "I hope I can answer all of them, much information regarding the Rapid Assault Armored Vehicle, or the RAAV, is still classified." "I sure hope you can! I like that name: 'RAAV' just sounds right. First of all, how long has the RAAV been in development?" "It has been in constant development for about three years, but the idea first crossed my desk about 5 years ago. Recent events hastened its research, production, and now, deployment." "What purpose was it built for? I'm by no means expert, but the RAAV seems smaller than other tanks." "Yes, it is smaller than other tanks, as it was built specifically for the purpose of engaging in urban warfare, or fighting in tight quarters. Through many advancements in various aspect of technology, we have created a next-generation vehicle which is capable of supporting, transporting, and protecting a group of soldiers in a hostile urban environment. Although the reduced size may seem to reduce effectiveness, it presents a smaller target to any enemy, and allows for improved maneuvering in the tight quarters of city streets, forests, or mountains." "Excellent. Has the RAAV been tested in a real-life combat situation?" "Yes, it has, actually. The first four RAAVs manufactured fought in last month's Battle of Carrefour, where they were used to great effect with inserting soldiers to key positions during the attack." "Alright. There you have it! After Xenor's recent declarations of war, Toohati is pushing back, and pushing hard! Thank you for joining me tonight, Director." GBW TNN Reporting ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Some more info and good photos of my RAAV. C&C welcome! To the judges: I was not sure if this would fall into the "Lord of War" or "Media" side build categories, I think either one would work. If I need to change it, let me know. - Leonardo da Bricki EDIT: I am such a megablocking idiot! @TheBeeze I just added this to my AAR post. Forgive my stupidity...
  15. Original idea here, very funny, but at the same time, interesting. And it works surprisingly well.
  16. Flagstone Squadron conducts a training exercise.... Great Brick War Recruitment Poster
  17. Toohati Ambassador to the Brick of Nations, Victoria Wilson Declaring War The nation of Toohati will not idly stand by and see our ally accused of such things as invasions and warmongering! I ask that you bring definitive proof of these accusations before this council! Blurry photos are not enough to go to war over. One supposed spy is not an invasion. Ambassador Bricknuss, are you sure that you wish to commit yourself and your nation to your eventual destruction over this matter? Bear in mind that our retaliatory actions to your declaration of war shall be swift and decisive! Toohati shall stand firm alongside our ally, the Commonwealth of Southern Territories, should your nation commit itself to such foolish actions! Though you have claimed to be acting in self-defense, declaring war upon multiple nations over false claims of invasion is clearly an offensive move. From this point forward, Toohati is at war with the nation of Xenor!
  18. If I add a border, does it count towards the 16x16 limit? Whether or not it does will not affect my build, this is just for clarity. @TheBeeze My build is 16x16 studs. Can I add the brick-built words to the front of it, as shown? [WIP] GBW Recruitment Poster 2
  19. It looks pretty good. Though the openness on the lower part seems odd with the total closure of the top part of the cab.
  20. There is no difference in strength, as far as I can tell, and I have used both kinds for years.
  21. I like the way this is looking. Black/white is definitely better.
  22. I hadn't thought about that, but yeah, I guess it does look like the 42037, a little bit.
  23. Yes, they are connected. But in the photo, I had forgotten to add the connector to the right side, as you can see. Concerning the 2nd part, I have already addressed the issue. UPDATE: Front Axle Had some time tonight for more work, so I again altered the front axle. It is now sturdier, and has some more details, including the fan and the lights. I will now move on the rear axle, fake engine, and gearbox, as these components will determine the shape of the chassis I connect the front axle to. After that, I'll add the rollcage and whatever else I'm forgetting at the moment. [WIP] Ariel Nomad Axle 3.0 [WIP] Ariel Nomad Axle 3.0
  24. Wow... Talk about extortion... That is a really nice adapter, and it's metal, and it's great to finally see one... but the price! I'd rather have a BuWizz or S-Brick!
