  1. It is a fantastic MOC! I love the design and the performance is awesome. Well done!!
  2. Very cool Thorsten! Many people have requested a parts list, they will be happy to know Professional instructions are on the way. Thank you
  3. The suspension in this build is really cool. I don't see to many people use the large springs but they suit this car nicely! (it helps there yellow too)
  4. This model is brilliant. The amount of motors, suspension and stuff you fit in such a compact size in inspiring. Well done!
  5. Awww man!! Cool build. I'd really like to build an offroader like this in the future.
  6. Wow, stunning work!! The scale of this thing is inreal. Well done
  7. Beautifully done. Compact, great bodywork, cool functions. HOF worthy!
  8. I am a huge fan of this build. What most people don't know is the time and thought that went into this build so far. This build has been hands down the most advanced frame Dug has built. I've seen a touch of the bodywork panelling for this build and let me tell you, I'm excited to see the final result. Another feature some may have overlooked is the suspension style. To provide the perfect suspension with only 1 shock per wheel with equal tension is so difficult yet this build pulls it off beautifully. Congrats bro, keep it up!
  9. This does look promising! Great compact design
  10. Excellent work and colour scheme!! Now for an RC version
  11. Wow, I dont even have a clue what is going on here. You must have a lot of lego!!
  12. Nice work! The front suspension is really interesting. I feel like the transmission might be a bit too far back, but great start man!
  13. Springoff, did you ever make instructions for this car? I saw that you have LDD at the end of the video. I like the placement of the battery!
  14. Hi Aventador, I use the 3x11 panel to show how long the flex axles are. Regarding the front hood, it seems the photos were not uploaded. Thanks for letting me know, I have added the front and back photo of the hood now in the instructions.
  15. So today I learnt the hard way. Never try and complete a 2.7 thousand parts list in 1 day. I started at 10am this morning and it is now 10:20pm. Thats 12 straight hours of sorting. I did find a fairly good system for efficiency, I put the parts in different piles when I was tearing down. Non the less, I am spent. You can see all 8 pages of parts list with the photo instructions here: https://goo.gl/photos/P33sQgfvZJNUF45M6 Lykan parts list 3 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  16. Love it! Really interesting setup. Have no clue how you did that.
  17. I can't wait to see this in RC!! Beautiful model and with class.
  18. The instructions are finally ready. 950+ photos later... You can see the photo tear down in the link below: Instructions: https://goo.gl/photos/P33sQgfvZJNUF45M6 The infamous rear suspension designed by my bro. So simple, so good! 19. Thanks blackbird, I will try and follow that style. I guess I was wondering if there was a faster way than placing each piece into its own pile on a big table to identify how many pieces I have of each type. Also, I would like to create a rebrickable page for this car, but do not know how to add the part count thru bricklink. [the final step of adding MOC's to the website] Would it be easier to create a digital list of parts instead of photos? I would like to avoid this style of sorting below... 20. Hi Aventador, yes the instructions will be free. Regarding the parts list, its the process I dread the most. Does anyone here have tips on how to categorize roughly 2.7 thousand Lego pieces efficiently? I will have the photo sequence ready very soon, below are some exposed photos of the gear box for the tear down part 3. I am already 900 photos in at this point... Front suspension:
  21. Thanks man! Below is the mechanism I used to open hood and tear down photos part 2
  22. I got some tear down photos from today. Made some good progress. 23. Yes, the pictures of desks and storage is one thing my wife picked up on too. Funny what others think of it! I'll be starting the tear down this weekend... I've prepared my desk and am ready to begin. Some last photos before shes gone... I'm gonna miss her!
