  1. The bodywork is excellent, and the framework is just so different in a good way! You have fit everything into the build nicely. So cooL!
  2. Oh man... I had forgotten the mess of wires for this build with all the lights and extension cables. It looks much more organized with the computer image
  3. This whole video was pro! Great work with the camera angles, my favorite part is the 360º view when the car is above the truck. Awesome!
  4. Wow... this is beautifully to scale. The little graphic you added on the side of the truck really adds a nice touch to the truck! And that trailer you've outdone yourself this time
  5. Nicely done! I agree with some, filling a few bigger gaps might clean up the body work. Great work overall!
  6. Hi, I did try to add a full curve in this build but there is not much to build off of in the middle of the seats. I highly suggest you building the car, then modding it however you like Looks great AFOL!! Thnks for sharing photos. Your collection must be huge... have you bought a second house to show them all off?
  7. Awesome Thorsten! You've done a stellar job creating the curves with your software.
  8. You're just flying along! I better start my Lamborghini Veneno tear down....
  9. Looks fantastic Thorsten!! Love how you can curve the pieces in your software. Looks identical to the real thing, well done
  10. Hi @Meatman, that picture of the Veneno you posted is not a perfectly straight angle of the car, distorting the scaling. Below is a photo overlay of my car with the a straight on photo of the Veneno hardtop. (it represents the car I was scaling much better - there weren't too many Veneno roadster photos to work with that werent digitally created) I was discussing with @technic_addict why my Models do seem to look a bit narrower between the wheels, and we feel its due to the larger gap I create around the wheels that give the appearance of a shorter car. Next build I will try and account for this visual discrepancy but creating the stud length between the wheels to be 1 - 2 studs wider. 11. Wow... extremely well done @dokludi!! Looking forward to the review
  12. Yeah, green would be so amazing!! If only they had all the panels for all colors...
  13. Thanks Technic-addict! Always a great time meeting with the group. thanks man thanks, and I hope you enjoy the process as much as I have. Black edition below.
  14. Awesome!! Thanks for sharing Much appreciated Thanks Brunojj1, I will definitely move on soon!! A quick question for you as you're quite good at this stuff, if you have 2 different wheel sizes, which wheel do you scale? See below, I made this car 36 betweeen the wheels (as seen below), with the rear one being scaled as 10 wide. Should I have scaled the smaller one as 10? What are your thoughts.
  15. Almost done eh? Awesome! Would love to see a few photos once complete Amazing Thorsten. Next is the bodywork, I'm interested how you will complete all the shaping of the flex axles on the computer for this model.
  16. Congrats on getting into the HOF, well deserved!
  17. Yeah, the Veneno has 2 different size of tires front and back. I chose one of the tires for scaling which can skew the scaling a stud or so. it funny you mention that @Aleh. I was thinking of a Dugald / Lox brother website dedicated to building super cars These are three photos that inspired me for this build...
  18. Thanks for posting Technic Addict, looking forward to the meet. You've gotta see the Veneno in real life
  19. I white version would be amazing... Hey @KD123! Thanks so much, glad you're excited about this build! Can't wait to go to BP again soon, hang out with the guys and chat about Technic. Cheers! Hey @Meatman, the wheel base is correct, but you are right in saying the front wheel arch is a tad too high. For all the angles and mechanics to work above the wheel area, the height needed to be a bit taller to funtion. Very good eye tho!
  20. Thanks @Offroadcreat1ons! Thank you! Regarding expenses, I am currently buying 200$-500$ worth of extra Lego (for each build) to collect enough parts to be able to produce the different angles of each hyper-car. Not to mention the 80-120 hours I spent on each build. This build in particular has many new colored parts in high qty. (black half bushes, red single axle \ single hole etc.) Thanks! The door mechanism is an idea I've had for some time, it is fairly simplistic in theory, but you may have to wait for the instructions to really see the inner workings @AFOLegofan66 So stoked you're excited about these builds! I will be getting the instructions started as soon as I can part with this awesome hyper-car on display... Thats totally up to you @LvdH, but I would place the Veneno as a slightly better build all around. Veneno has top MOC speed (IMO) of a hyper-car this size, without grinding any gears. (One extra thing to note - this build is BuWizz Compatible...) Thanks @Digger of Bricks! I have recently picked up an Iphone7 Plus, which films in incredible quality and has the best camera out there. New builds will have very high quality photos... Thanks Rishab! I do have an incredible new car to build next (99% sure) and am extremely excited to start it... Thanks @nerdsforprez!! I too feel this is the best so far. Learning from mistakes and applying to new builds. Thanks Bro! Very happy you helped with the suspension and everything else. Cheers You're probably right regarding the Egoista, but its up there in the odd list! Cheers! Thanks a ton Rudivdk! I've got to say, the Bugatti Chiron front hood eluded me on styling... Thanks! I will never forget what Brunojj1 said, there is a piece for every shape you're trying to produce, so have high qty's of each different shape for the best solution! Hey Lipko, thanks, I find building to blueprint very enjoyable, something I do at my work, take a 2D drawing and make it 3D! (CNC machining - QC Inspector) Thanks @mocbuild101 Glad you're pumped! Instructions will be posted in the near future. Stay tuned @IA creations thanks for the HOF mention! Thanks all, you're enthusiasm and support pushes me to keep pushing the boundaries and keep having fun!
  21. The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster takes the aerodynamic efficiency of a racing prototype onto everyday roads. This super sports car is characterized by optimal aerodynamics in order to guarantee stability in fast curves and a behavior like a racing prototype. Flickr Album: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm53decD The Lego Car Blog: https://thelegocarblog.com/2017/07/23/veneno-2/ The roadster version is even more rare, as 3 versions were built for a hefty 4.2 million $ price tag. Top secret new build by lachlan cameron, on Flickr When my good friend @Kalps1811 suggested to build this car, I was worried. It looked like the craziest, most wild "concept" style car Lamborghini has even made. Black from the future by lachlan cameron, on Flickr But as I got further into the build, everything fell into place. One mean stance... by lachlan cameron, on Flickr This hypercar has been a absolute joy to build. Top secret top view ? by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The car features super easy access battery from the bottom, a button between the seats to turn on the power, 2 XL for drive, 1 servo built between the front suspension, m-motor for doors, Custom V12 engine (made by my bro) Motorized doors with the shifter acting as selector for each door, removable engine cover, hood opens, front suspension with torsion bar and shocks built in (designed by @DugaldIC) rear suspension - horizontal coil overs, Sbrick plus, front lights (2x) and rear lights (4x). Lamborghini Veneno by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I have put my heart and soul into this build. Each day, I'd reference the build to the real car and assess which features looked correct and to scale, and which didn't. Lamborghini Veneno by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Some difficult thing I came across on this build were the doors on an upward, inward angle (allowing the car to drive when doors are open) and the hood being 4 stud off the ground. Lamborghini Veneno by lachlan cameron, on Flickr I will be working with @Thorsten50 on instructions for this build. There will be a small price to the instructions this time, to cover some of the time and effort put into acquiring all these pieces to time spent making the build. Lamborghini Veneno by lachlan cameron, on Flickr SO stay tuned, but in the meantime, enjoy the video and photos on the Lamborghini Veneno!!
