  1. This F1 Racecar was something Dugald and I have been talking about doing for a long time. All of the regular batteries and motors just aren't fast enough. We tried our best to keep everything light weight, but enough paneling to show the curves of a real F1. Video: Flickr: https://flic.kr/s/aHskMrkHjm Fastest car we've ever built by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Technic Addict was so kind to lend us his RC buggy motors, battery pack and Michelin tires. (I am quite fond of those tires, but I checked bricklink and found the cheapest used pair to be 110$ for all 4 so yeah... not going to buy em Back end fun by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Dugald asked Technic Addict what he would like to see built with these motors and he was really keen on seeing a light F1 car to show off the speed of the motor. SO here you go Technic Addict! Thanks! IMG_2291 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr My brother and I sat down yesterday at 4pm, grabbed a few drinks, and built the night away. At 12pm we were done! IMG_2304 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The car weighs 1450 grams or 3.2 pounds. Most of the weight is in the Michelin tires IMG_2353 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Super low car for better aerodynamics IMG_2347 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Big shout out to Technic Addict for making this build possible!
  2. Wow!! I like how you tucked the wires into the chassis. Page 57 already!@?
  3. Hi Grohl, I've just seen these alternatives recently, amazing! ? Do you have instructions for the Wyvern?
  4. Love it!! Color combo, lots of power, crazy angles, best MOC with the RC motor I've seen in a while! Video please?
  5. So cool Thorsten!! To put this much detail together in 6 days in absolutely incredible.
  6. I really like the revision. Very clean and very true to the real car. I am excited to see this car get completed!
  7. This is super exciting to see this car getting build digitally with those crazy angle. You sir are a master! I find it funny when you and Blackbird talk Lego designing... Its as if you are talking a different language. What is a Sythes?
  8. Blackbird, those renders are so pro! Thanks so much for putting this together and for showing the inner workings Dugald worked so hard to create! Would be cool to see a render like that on the Hennessey ?
  9. Solid! How can you be halfway done in 3 days? You are building this car faster than I was able to create tear down photos! Overlay of the Hennessey Venom sketch and the technic car by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  10. Wow Thorsten, you are amazing at this stuff! Yes that's the part.
  11. +1. Fun build and great function! ?
  12. That is looking slick! I love these renders you're producing too. Keep it up! Stoked to see your car complete Bro!
  13. photo instructions complete and updated: https://goo.gl/photos/dy2DnhMWxqHDehmh9 I'm sure this will be extremely difficult to create instructions for. My hat goes off to you Thorsten!
  14. This build kinda makes me want to build a Tank. Very cool build and super detailed!
  15. Ive got the photos. Google will only allow 500 photos at a time. So they selected 500 random photos of the 888 photos I took. I will upload them tonight and ensure all are there. Sorry, was in a rush today. You can easily use the Sbrick if you like, the reason I did not use it was because I don't own one. Dugald does :)
  16. Hi Thorsten, After 3 days of tearing down this car I am finished. Please see 888 pages of instructions here: https://goo.gl/photos/dy2DnhMWxqHDehmh9 IMG_2111 by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  17. Awesome! Would really like to see the inner workings of this beast
  18. +1. Very nice to see it in black again too It seems your doors are sitting a bit off tho, they are pushed outward. Thanks for sharing!

  20. +1! Great build, love the blend of technic and regular Lego! Photos are cool too
  21. Tear down photo update 1: The back end was super complicated to build. Doing tear down photos for instructions... by lachlan cameron, on Flickr The removable roof. Untitled by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Looks much more simple together doesn't it? Untitled by lachlan cameron, on Flickr Custom red and black leather seats Untitled by lachlan cameron, on Flickr
  22. Very cool Technic Addict. The rear wing is a really nice touch designed by Thorsten. And those photos.. So crisp! What camera are you using?
  23. Cool! I'd like to take the Audi in the garage for a spin
  24. Hi Technic Addict, this build has 10 Red#3 connectors, (19X) 19L red soft axles, (3X) 14L red soft axles, (6X) 11L red soft axles. (I'm not 100% sure if the 6X axles are 11L or 12L I will get back to you soon, starting the tear down photos tomorrow.) Also there are at least 100+ 3L red beams, and 40+ 2L red beams. I would stock up on them for this build!
