    I may be wrong, but I think the Quinjet image most are linking is color faded. There was an out of focus shot of Vision from this image that has him with dark red hands and head. That new motorcycle shell is also in the upcoming Racers theme.

    The image we have is from the catalog. Someone in the Bionicle thread pointed out that there are ninja images throughout the catalog to promote Ninjago. It was already noted that the eyes looked like the Ninjago image, so this likely has nothing to do with the CMFs.

    I suspect that this may just be a movie spin-off of Friends, with Emily coming from the Friends universe into this one.

    I believe Hans has gotten trapped too. But I'd rather have Jasper as a fig than Hans. Either one in the set would be welcome, sticker form or not.

    My contribution has been a bit lacking here too. I've only spent maybe four hours on GOH builds in the last three weeks. I should be able to get some major building done next week, though. Hopefully I will get to finish Quest for the Egg Part Two before the end of the year. The two Nestlands Embassy builds will have to wait until January. In other news, the Laurell K. Hamilton fan forum is being transformed into a more general literature fan forum. The thing that has be excited by this is that the site Admin and Mods chose my suggestion for the new name, Beyond the Bindings. I am feeling really good about this, and wanted to share. If I didn't already have three builds in the works already I'd do a build for this.

    The monkey was a wonderful design for the time, but its aesthetics no longer fit with the current Lego animals. For AFOLs who have/had this monkey, there isn't an issue. For the kids in the target age group, though, the classic monkey would seem unfinished and a bit large when compared to the chimpanzee and orangutan currently in production. Hopefully if the monkey does get a redesign, it will retain its articulation and gripping hands, but be improved in detail and size relation.

    It is entirely plausible that the monkey mold is undergoing redesign, and was simply not ready when the sets were finalized. Even if that isn't the case, that old monkey design needs work. Compared to the current lot of animals produced, it is severely lacking.

    The Spider-Man vehicles were technically SHIELD vehicles. The USM cartoon, like the Marvel Adventures comics line, has too much 'kiddie logic' for me to enjoy, but that universe's SHIELD is outfitting that Spider-Man.

    Deadpool wears the same costume in almost all of the Marvel Universes, even the one where he is a tiny pig. Lego already got his costume dead on. They aren't going to produce any of the variations. There are two very gross versions of him without his mask in The Amazing Spider-Man comics (which ended some time ago) and The Ultimate Spider-Man comics. These are ones Lego would likely never produce. Ryan Reynolds played Wade Wilson in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie which is owned by Fox, and it is likely that this is just a continuation of this portrayal. I don't get the hate for Ben Affleck as Daredevil, and would have loved a Michael Clark Duncan Kingpin fig, but that too is owned by Fox.

    I'm a little torn, but Slegengr's is the better overall representation of the Guilds. So 3 it is.

    Ditto. Wonderful use of the Brick Warriors minotaur head in relation to the CMF version. It does look more feminine.

    The link is now giving me the Product Not Available page. It works now. Replace the set name and numbers and you can probably see them all fully rendered. I just did the Protector of Ice. Replacing an existing theme name with Bionicle in the line of a By-Theme link does redirect to Hero Factory.

    Is that the current Starhawk? I thought that was the version that was in the original Guardians of the Galaxy storyline, the one that was negated when Major Vance Astro(vik) didn't go into space. It was the version of Yondu from that storyline I was hoping for in the wave we got.

    Dual color short legs are not printed, but in fact are over-molded. Brickarms does this on occasion with limited use in house molds (production molds are outsourced). I have no use for the Hot Dog Suit Guy. His torso appears to be tan, and if there is an interesting/usable print I may rethink acquiring him. Though he seems to be the center of the marketing for this series, I will likely take a pass on him. I don't see the hate for the Lady Cyclops. Her makeup is bad because, well, she likely doesn't know how to use it. Think about it; in a fantasy world how would a lady cyclops learn how to apply it? I see the Lady Cyclops trying to make herself beautiful (like the Princess) and failing. Hopefully the makeup is only on the headgear, and not on the head itself. If that is the case, a simple print removal can be done.

    We will likely only get Moe as a CMF. He has been outside of his bar in quite a few episodes. There are a few variations of him as well.
